Need to stop playing a pass into congested areas. Far too many passes went up top to a player surrounded, if you do that you need other bodies closer to that player but most of the time they're 10 yards away.

Having said that last ten we've started to work it better. Stay tight, don't concede then turn the heat up.
If they're sitting in though the only non congested areas are going to be centre backs or keeper.

I don't know about you but I don''t fancy a game of two touch between Toby and Sanchez ;)

Spaces should open up for our forward players from 55 minutes onwards.

The way he saunter around still pisses me off, regardless of whether he pops up with the odd winning goal.

Remember when Modric was leaving and he had a fantastic final season, something to really remember him by. I'm not getting that from Eriksen.

Modric was twice the player Eriksen is though.

Results around us really aren’t going our way. We need to step it up in the second half and test their fitness.

Survived the early pressure, which was to be expected after the final loss and at home to us. Grew into the game after that, 0-0 at half-time. This is certainly winnable from here.
Their bench looks potentially dangerous, ours not so much. Our match winners are on the pitch

Rose on at some point around the hour mark, reckon he would have a fun time on the flank the way we've been getting forward and his crossing is dangerous.

Be tempted to get Llorente on for the last ten minutes as well, depending on how it's going. He's looked more confident recently and we're not shy of a cross so far tonight, so put him in for Son when his battery runs out.

Getting on top towards the end of the half, should be having more pot shots at Willie.

Lol the fuck man?

When Trippier plays, Sissoko plays better. He seems to know exactly what his job is, ie boss the middle & cover for Trippier when he's up the pitch. Simple.

When Aurier plays, no fucker knows where he's going to be, or what he's going to do. Sissoko has to concentrate on his own game, but also constantly monitor Aurier.

Burnley was his worst performance for ages, it's not a coincidence.

I'll win you all over in the end.

They will tire after playing and losing on penalties after 120 minutes of football Sunday evening. We had a day's extra rest, and in any case we have one of the fittest squads in the league. That's why we get so many late goals. The chance(s) will come, I believe.

Not a bad game so far, we have grown in the last 20 mins, I hope Poch has a word with Sonny and gets him to close down quicker, he has been jogging towards his man half the time,

Harry seems sharp considering but has got 2 n 3 players on him quickly,

I think someone should have a word with Mariner at half time but that said he did let both Llamela's go even thought they were good challenges but at full speed a weaker ref could have booked him when the crowd put the pressure on.

i'm having a little Winks love in atm

Nothing wrong with the effort on the whole that half. Cannot allow a drop like Saturday.
