Barca and PSG are in the same pot.

Most difficult group would be Bayern, Barca and Roma/RB Leipzig IMO

Heard something interesting on RB Leipzig incidentally. There's a chance they will be demoted if they qualify as they have the same owners as RB Salzburg and that's against CL rules.

Indeed, in which case Hoffenheim would go straight to the group stage and Cologne would take their Playoff place.

Enough of this I don't want this and that... We'll bring the fight to anyone, be it Real, Barca, Bayern, PSG or Juventus. I don't care about the money, all I want is for our incredibly talented squad to play to their full potential and bring these arrogant big money juggernauts to their knees.

The game is about glory, and we've got the ability to create our own without the luck of the draw.

We're in it to face the best teams in Europe. Considering how poorly we did this season against what we all thought was going to be an easy group, perhaps our lads would be more inspired to perform against some of the bigger clubs. Would certainly make for a great spectacle in Wembley! Can't wait. Bring it on!!!
Monaco though turned out to be up their with the best teams this season

Just remembered Alli is suspended for the first 3 group games. Could fuck us right up.

Will be interesting to see how Liverpool do in the Playoff. Potential teams they could face include Hoffenheim, Nice (featuring one Mario Ballotelli) and Sporting Lisbon - I wouldn't make them particularly strong favourites against any of those three. So so important than we've got into the top 3 again so that we can do our transfer business without the uncertainty of whether we'll make it or not.

Need Liverpool to make the groups for the England coefficient, although it would be hilarious to see them go out in the qualifier.

Our club coefficient is low, we are 10 points behind the club above, zenit, so we could really do with a couple of good CL runs to boost us into pot 2 eligibility in a few years.

country coefficient is actually going away starting with the 18-19 season England, Spain and Germany along with either Italy or France I think Italy are going to get three group and a playoff spot automatically.

Seems odd, guess it's all money related

Reading all the doom and gloom on here about the group draw possibilities it makes me wonder if half of those in here hadn't wished we'd have finished tenth.......

As the season progressed we improved and with a fit starting eleven will be more of a match for anyone in the group stages. Does anyone think that there isn't a club in Europe thats thinking "fuck i hope we don't draw the chicken badge club in the group sages"?

Not going away as such, but the top four nations will get 4 places so England would only be in trouble if they fell behind France. Not gonna happen short term but not impossible in a few years if PSG and Monaco continually make the CL knockouts.

No chance that happens. Especially since they've already qualified.

UEFA won't look into it formally until the season has ended and the teams officially confirmed from every country in Europe, so it'll be next month before we know one way or another.

Right, but RB doesn't see any problems arising and they've definitely done their research and homework here. Regardless, if UEFA decides anything, Leipzig would take priority over Salzberg, where technically RB is only a title sponsor, and not the owner.

I read something about this last week and salzberg would have priority as they finished their season as champions and liepzig didnt

Yep, I'm sure they've had some very very good lawyers on it, but UEFA is never exactly predictable or consistent. And nope, if they were only allowed to field one of the teams it would be Salzberg - the place goes to whoever has the highest coefficient.
