Given the issues on both sides, this is setting up to be a pretty crap match.

Now watch it end up 5-4 with two in stoppage.

From their side:
De Zerbi said: “Tomorrow, we have more or less 10 injured players, maybe less, maybe eight, but two players can’t start the game. We’ve lost Kaoru (Mitoma) for around four, five or six weeks." On Adingra, he added: “I don’t know if he can play in the African Cup because the injury. He needs four or five weeks. It’s a muscular injury, hamstring.”
Joel Veltman, Tariq Lamptey, Adam Webster, Solly March, Julio Enciso and Ansu Fati all remain sidelined by injury. However, Pervis Estupinan is fit after nearly three months on the sidelines and likely to start on the bench.

Brighton are missing all there decent wide players March , mitoma and adingra which we’ll help nullify the threat of Ferguson.

they are also without key defenders. I see no reason why we can’t go there with our attacking intent and get at them.

they haven’t been the team they were even at home this season .

I would be worried if we go there with skipp sarr and kulu as our midfield.

think we need PEH Sarr lo celso with kulu right son left and Ritchie up front .

use Johnson from the bench

Tough game. Hard to call it really. The spine of our team is the obvious problem. Don't think it makes much difference if it is Skipp or peh etc. nor at CB.

But their injury list makes this an interesting contest. Need to use the wide areas effectively as that is where any chances are likely to come from.

.given what we have upfront I fancy a narrow win. Wouldn't be surprised with a. Score draw. Disappointed with a loss.

Aren't we shit every time we're on Amazon? I think we're contractually obliged to suck when they show our matches.

Brighton’s injury problems are almost as bad as ours. Newcastle, Man U and Chelsea have all had persistent and extensive injury problems this season. I’ve never known a season like it where a quarter of the division are battling the sort of injury crisis which ordinarily hits one or two clubs over the course of the season - and we’re only at the halfway point!

I’ve no idea how tonight will go, but I think it’s the midfield which worries me more than the defence. Neither Skipp nor Hojbjerg have impressed when starting as the 6 for us under Ange but one of them has to start tonight. If we give the ball away cheaply in midfield then our high full backs and makeshift centre back pairing will get exposed. If we use the ball well in midfield then our front 4 should have too much for them.

We should cause this injury ravaged Brighton side a lot of problems even with our own injury issues.

They don't have a single fullback fit and are down to their 5th choice wide player (Buenonotte) with Mitoma, Adingra, Enciso and March out.

They never replaced Mac Allister or Caicedo and will likely play some inexperienced youth in the middle of the park (Baleba/Hirshelwood).

They are an injury on Dunk/Gross away from total disaster.

No excuses tonight.

I really think Lo Celso should play as the 6 tonight. I don't see how he doesn't do a better job than Skipp. Not that Skipp is bad just not that great on the ball.

They lined Verbruggen - Igor, Dunk, Van Hecke, Hinshelwood - Gilmour, Baleba - Mitoma, Groß, Adringa - Pedro on last game and now have Mitoma and Adringa out.

Other available players include Ferguson, Lallana, Moder, Welbeck, Milner, Dahoud, Buonanotte. Out of those Ferguson, Milner and Lallana started against Arsenal. Buonanotte against Marseille and Milner, Dahoud, Lallana and Ferguson against Burnley. Their flanks might lack, Johnson and Porro ought to cause problems for Hinshelwood should he start. Not that other options look good either.

The "other available players" group looks better than their starters tbf.

Really worry about our defence against Ferguson. Hopefully our attack are on form to make up for our defence. COYS going for 3-2.

Ferguson has 2 goals since 4th round and flank delivery might be worse than usually. Could still be a problem. If Ferguson starts, will they try Joao Pedro on flank? Has started once as LW this season.

Still a very good player, he has been affected by Brightons injuries and lack of quality around him.
His still very young and will blow hot and cold, let's hope it's a cold day😀 what i like about him is his work rate.

Thank fuck Ansu Fati isn't playing, you just know he'd score against us.

Looking forward to seeing Ferguson close up, probably no chance but he'd be a good option for us going forward.

Not even sure Ferguson will start. Could be Pedro and Welbeck, Ferguson seems to have found himself rotated a lot in the past couple months.
