Having seen the highlights, am I alone in thinking Lloris would probably have prevented both of their goals, but would also probably let in the one Forster saved with his feet from (I think) a corner in the first half?
I honestly don't think so the first one deflected off Lenglet Forster had to readjust and saved it only for it to go to their striker on the six yard line with no spurs defender within yards of him, that was what was wrong. The second one a front post flick header from the corner and their striker knew where it was going and was ready, I just don't think either one was down to goalkeeping failures.

Per transfermrkt - Arsenal have a net spend of 312M since Arteta arrived.

Spurs have a net Spend of 159M since Conte arrived. Give Conte 150M more worth of players, and then lets see where the clubs are
Conte hasn’t been here anywhere near as long as Arteta, and the squad he inherited had spent seasons finishing above Arteta’s Arsenal.

If you can't see it's individual mistakes that are costing us week after week, I don't know what to tell you.
Isn't that what coaching is all about? Improving players, working with them to stop those individual mistakes?

Arsenal backed their manager in a serious way. New contract and a lot on fees and wages. When we do that we can talk about competing with arsenal
They backed their manager but a lot of young hungry players are being used that have been at the club for years.

AC wants ready made players. I see no young players coming through or players in the squad that will fight for 90 minutes.

You say that but if players are good enough he’ll play them. Hakimi was young, bastoni, Kulu etc. it’s not about age is about how good they are.
Arsenal got incredible lucky with saliba and martinelli, no way they thought they would develop that quickly and well, plus Saka coming through. I’m sure if conte had that calibre of talent he’d use them, but he has Gil….

You only know a player is good enough when you play them or get their loans done. Our RWBs are shit right now and still Spence can't get a game.

Also don't forget, last season we weren't exactly calling Martinelli and Saliba players that we would have liked to sign. But Arteta stuck with Martinelli and got rewarded. Same with Xhaka.

Believe it or not there is only so much you can coach.
Sorry, I absolutely do NOT believe that! The best managers manage to coach mistakes out of players. We have a group of high class defenders. No one's asking them to be coached to be world class. But coaching them out of basic mistakes should be the foundation of any managers work.

Why do you think they are high class defenders? How many of them would get into the other big clubs defences, and try not to be bias. The general consensus from pundits fans and neutrals is they are not high class at all. Perhaps everyone else is wrong and you're right?
