I was just thinking today.. if lennon didnt get injured pav probably wouldn't have got his chance.... I guess its similar for bale although ekotto was going to ANC but in the case of lennon, missing him exposed our weakness upfront more so, forced 'arrys hand and its almost certainly worked out for the better...

... and when lennons back

Plus Bentley has his tail up (injury sucks but he was moving in the right direction).

It has proved that a large expensive squad has been a problem in itself, but now that problem is a plus.

Well BAEs injury has indeed been a blessing in disguise as Bale has just gone off the chart with his performances. I said a few weeks back that there are few FBs around as good as BAE without realising we had one sat on the bench. His talent is being realised, he's tougher mentally and physically and every time he goes forward I get a stonking hard on.

As for Arsenal, I think Ramseys horrific and unfortunate injury yesterday may be a blessing in disguise for them, they reacted to it positively and it could really galvanise them as they pull together for the poor kid. They may, conversely look back on it as a turning point, despite it being a horrible moment.

How does Lennon getting injured relate to Pav getting his chance?

?? dont quite get it?? We were scoring freely until Lennon got injured.... Surely that just means we miss Lennon? Not that we have a striking difficiency?

And to be honest, I don't know how anyone could ever refer to our best player this season getting injured as a 'blessing in disguise'.

BAE though, I agree.
