Jenas is not the creative type player - he's the fairly straightforward box-to-box with a great engine and good at shuffling players. However, that's only under Ramos - and seemingly only when he's paired with the right person - He cannot play to his full potential with Zokora at his side...really, only Tainio currently is a player that can give JJ the freedom to play to his best.

You obviously aint seen too many of JJ's games recently then, that also got him a start and a goal for England???

You're making ill informed assumptions. I have a season ticket, and have as much right as you to have an opinion of a player. I'm well aware that some top managers have picked Jenas. That doesn't mean I have to agree with them either. England and Spurs haven't exactly been that successful with Jenas on the pitch. (bar the carling cup of course).

Take a look at his record: 102 games for Spurs in three years - 21 goals. That's 0.2 goals a game for an attacking midfielder.

In same period Gerrard has a 0.38 goals per game, Lampard 0.38 per game.

Jenas has a massive 4 assists this season, Fabregarse has 16.

I'm also well aware that we don't have great strength in the center of midfield, but why is Jenas a guaranteed starter. He's so inconsistent.

Whenever he does have his one in five good games, there is always someone who proves this point by starting a thread saying 'now do you think Jenas is gash?'

In my opinion there are much better midfielders out there and we have too many mid table standard central midfielders (including Jenas).

Again i am not JJ's biggest fan but in recent weeks he has seemed to have improved (since Ramos took over) so i will not be as harsh on his as i have in the past.

I do kind of agree with the above post though. Jenas can do a job YES but is he good enough to help us break into the top 4? IMO .....No.

MAYBE if we sign a decent Centre Mid partner for him then his game will improve even more but until that time i dont think he is cosistant enough to help us move onwards and upwards.
