I think it comes down to who were playing. Different opponents will need a different approach. Last night I thought Huddleston would have been best but then hew wasn’t to aspiring when he came on.

I really rate Huddleston, I think he could become a great player for us.

That Jenas isn't a player that can run a midfield. He can be used as running depth but not be a creative force.

C'mon..........people can't blame others for the fact that Jenas lack quality.

Open your eyes and take a good look at CM's in succesful teams in England and out in Europe. Jenas wouldn't be first choice anywhere. He lacks splitvision, creativity and pace when it comes to passings.

If you put Titus Bramble alongside King in defence or Rasiak alongside Keane in attack both King and Keane would look half the players they are. That is what happens when you play Zokora next to Jenas.
Interesting that out of 54 votes only 2 have gone to Zokora. Yet he was / is the first choice of both Jol and Ramos. We must all be missing something.

Poulsen :rofl:. What new he brings? I don`t have any stats but I feel that whenever TT is playing we win. And its shame that he plays fullback, he doesn`t like it himself. Zokora in CC final and last night, OMG...why does he play? TT and JJ in the middle, that`s it. And Hudd as back up.

was zokora first choice for Jol? I'm not sure about that - JJ was - I think MJ played TT & Hudd quite a lot in mid - but maybe DZ was first choice - not sure - I'm also sure Jol said of him 'he can't shoot, he can't pass, he can't tackle' - if that memory is correct - hardly a ringing endorsement -
