Why does it not surprise me we're asking for more now moneybags PSG are involved?

Don't really know if it's only about "more money". It's a different deal. Deal with Watford was reported to be with a smooth buy back/relegation clause (ergo, a possibility for a future profit, too). Deal w/ PSG is most likely without clauses, thus the price is different. Makes sense.

If Poch doesn't intend to play him, and he has had numerous chances to do this season, then yes, it really is important to sell him. Keeping players for the sake of it just breeds disruptive influencers

If we bought him for £4m and sell on for £5.6m a year later barely having featured, you can only presume we'll be 'treated' to more investment signings like him and Holtby in the future, it's a better rate of return for Danny boy than putting it in the bank or into property.

Our squad and wage bill are too big, and Veljkovic is probably now able to offer a comparable contribution to he did last season

I really liked his attitude and a few times he showed glimpses of what he can do.

Never had a real crack and I'm a bit disappointed with that.

One things for sure it goes to show that pochettino has a big say regarding transfers.

I think we needed to get someone in once Poch had had a pre-season with Sandro, Dembele, Capoue and Paulinho and decided none of them could do the job he needed them to in CM.

Bentaleb and Mason were fantastic, but we needed a third player at least capable in the double pivot.

We all knew it was BS when it happened. Seems a decent player and decent lad though so its good to see him get the move to a big club in his home country.
