The back four have been absolutely fine. Of course they’re a bit rusty as never played together, but they’ve looked pretty solid to me. Rodon is pretty decent on the ball, which helps.

Would love to see Lo Celso more central, we always look so much better when he gets the ball.

Lucas playing well.

So overall system wise its still all a bit shit... we scored, which im ecstatic with and definitely need another - think it is there if we are a bit more ruthless.

First 10 was good then up until our goal, was mostly Villa, and our goal has kinda given us a bit more confidence.

Have to say Vini's hold up play and technic with the ball are very concerning. Can't rely on him holding the ball, receiving it or linking with a teammate. Of course Aston Villa's CBs are very strong and difficult to deal with, but is tough to see that if he's not in the right place at the right time like in his goal he offers very little else. Hopefully a good run of games help him gain confidence, we definitely need him.

I agree but with him as back up striker, he will usually be on for 20/30mins. All you want primarily is someone who can put the ball in the back of the next, and he looks like that type. Poacher.

Nah he's just paid by Sky to keep the anti-Spurs rhetoric alive.

although our defence has looked a bit shaky at times, he has been ripping into them when they have played attackers offside and shoulder barging players off the ball. Seems like a definite agenda to me. He’s been really over the top.

We are winning the midfield with Kane dropping deep and our wing backs are decent, game not over and we need to turn it up second half.

I'll take this right now. Lloris and Kane need to put an arm around Sanchez and build his belief up. I think he just needs confidence. On the ball he has looked good.

First 10 minutes were really promising, rest was pretty poor except for a smash and grab goal.

Obviously happy to be in front but it's not exactly the start of a new era is it?

Tanganga once again been the highlight. Reminds me of when KWP was getting starts and doing well so I hope it doesn't turn out the same way.

New look back four - yet to concede a shot.
Vinicius first start - scored.

Not perfect and not pretty but given the last week I'm pleased to see some actual effort at the very least. Players are encouraging each other and there's an attempt to press and win the second balls.
