The back four have been absolutely fine. Of course they’re a bit rusty as never played together, but they’ve looked pretty solid to me. Rodon is pretty decent on the ball, which helps.

Would love to see Lo Celso more central, we always look so much better when he gets the ball.

It's been a lot better.
When we don't have the ball, I'm not expecting them to score every time. So that's an improvement.

We are mixing things up as well, 1 or 2 touch, and then you get Lucas, Ndombele or Tanganga running past a couple of villa players.

Half Time observation:
We really look unbalanced. We've got too much space down the wings and we seem narrow in attack.

I still can't work out what we are doing in midfield - looks like a 433 with Lucas floating around down the left but not certain.
Also there isn't many passing opportunities open when we are bringing it out from the back.


If we continue with a similar performance I don't see us winning.
