I think you guys missed his point. I think I know what the OP is reffering to.
Take the amount of shots he is taking for example, the rather audacious efforts he had from like 40 odd yards out at old trafford and his shoot on site policy.
Now you could take this two ways. 1) his willingess to shoot and make something happen / score.
or 2) The way I see it. The "im not going to pass to my team-mates method".."your not gonna do shit with the ball".."im more likely to score from here then if i pass the ball to you".."im better then the rest of you, so ill single handedly try to make something happen because I have little faith in my team mates".
I can totally understand where the poster is coming from. The frustration is clear. Yes VDV is a winner, but then why would a winner like VDV want to stay at spurs? If things continue this will be his last season as a spurs player, no doubt.
I watched him chase down Clichy/Lescott/Barry/Yaya on his own while they passed the ball around him at one point in the 2nd half when we were 3 or 4 nil down. His attitude is not in question.

Exactly. And he's arguably the one player in our team who shouldn't be having to do that. In his 'free role' he's supposed to be our luxury player if anyone. But until Livermore came on nobody else was chasing anything.
I'd say that attitude wise only VdV and Livermore really did their bit today.
Absolutely, no probs with his attitude
Building a team round a bloke who is clearly never going to be 100% fit? More of a problem
With Bale and Lennon offering nothing and Crouch never making any runs his shoot on sight policy is understandable really.
As others have said at least he's running for the team and looks like he cares which is more than can be said for the likes of Huddlestone and Lennon.
His attitude isn't the problem. How we fit him sensibly into the team is the more pressing question.
