This rumour was swirling around last week, but the price was supposedly £30m then. I'd take him, not for 30, not for 20, maybe 12-15. He's much improved under Arteta but I'm not quite sure where his best position is.

Are we allowed to say that he is actually a very good plaeyer?

My inlaws are all Arsenal and they think AFC are making a huge mistake letting him go - Mikel wants to keep him but the board want to cash in to raise funds.

Depends whether ratings bother you.

I actually think he's a pretty decent player...

Would be next level poor piece of journalism, even for the Sun's standards, to link him to us without being something in it, whether it's agent talk etc

There is nothing in it. Arsenal is never going to sell to us nor us to Arsenal.

Check the ITK thread.

Doesn't change anything - Arsenal would not sell to us. Don't know why ITK makes people throw logic out the window. We might be interested, but why would they be? The fans are already pissed off at them and not like we'd be the only suitors.

Just because it probably won't happen doesn't mean there's "nothing in it"- Herc says there is.

So we basically buy Gabriel for them by taking a player surplus to their requirements who won’t make us materially better. Hmm.

He’s wank and they need the money. I reckon they’d love to sell him to us.

That's the only logical argument really, but I don't think they'd risk him having a resurgence and us trolling their Twitter with pictures of him posing with our next Audi cup.

He wants to leave Arsenal to play more minutes and be 1st choice, if we are interested in him it's more likely to be 2nd choice still

This makes absolutely no sense to me apart from the fact he's HG. He can't really play RB, we're stocked with his type (dynamic 8?) in CM and we don't often play a back 5?

I was just reading, according to their ITK, he wants to stay and has been reassured by Arteta and will get more game time in midfield.

Unless of course that's not true and Jose has been telling his agent if he moves here he'll use him in midfield.
