Rose definitely MOTM. Also thought Trippier did okay, Mane didn’t cause that much problem on his side. In general, the rest was pretty disappoitning. Kane probably shouldn’t have started. I guess it’s easy to say in hindsight and I probably said he should have started before the game as well, but he was really poor tonight unfortunately.

Forgot to say, and was saying before the game, that Kane should not have started. Look at the difference Moura made when he came in. Kane was static throughout

I probably made him motm more than any other player in recent years.
If that is his last game, it is a great shame he has nothing to show for his time here.

The decision to start Kane infuriated me, again a player who is not match fit is chosen above others who have done a great job. Moura got us to the final and he sidelined so easily!! His pace could have made all the difference crazy never learns

Both teams were poor for some reason. It wasn't just ours that didn't turn up. There were very few players that had a decent performance.
Even Origi, who scored barely got a single accurate pass. Kane, Salah, Son, Firmino, Eriksen, Alli, all the top players were average. Mane and Allison were the only two above average.

lloris 5, nothing to do but should have done better for the corner rose gave away,a call or something
Trips 4, thought he was awful
Rose, Toby and Jan 7 thought all played well
Winks 7, passed well and went forward
Sissoko 6, poor for the pen, why on earth his arm was up, didnt do much else

I can only assume that Alli, Son and then Moura were ordered not to run channels or pull wide too often because none of them did so when given the opportunity. This left us a narrow mess. I actually laughed when Llorente came on and the first attacking move we made since then saw Kane, Llorente in line up top with Son and Moura standing a few feet behind them like it was a square and they were standing on the four corners. Fucking ridiculous.
