At that point you shouldn't be going. The only reason I go to games is for the atmosphere and if 1/4 of the stands is making atmosphere and has half the people telling me to stop chanting and sit down then that isn't fair as they could be in the other 3/4s of the stadium with the sitting bunch where I wouldn't choose to sit and rather save my money not going.

The single tier was created to generate atmosphere not prawn sandwiches!
See below and take note
we all pay for a ticket, and with it being close to the family area there are some kids that when standing up cannot see F'all. there are also be elderly people that cannot stand to watch a match, and then those with little mobility. the minute 1 row stands it effects every single row going back. the seats are there for a reason, and until standing is ever introduced back into the game, I'm affraid people need to learn to park their arses on what they paid for. imagine paying all that money being a ST holder to then receive a ban for being selfish.

you can still create an atmosphere sitting down

I managed to get a couple of tickets for the huddersfield game this morning. I have the email confirmations but they're not showing up in my account as seats other than in the purchased section. Does anyone know when if it takes a while to show up?

Tickets are loaded onto your access card or app 24 hours before the match.

why can't people sing sitting down? I did for near on 90 minutes
Was in North upper, quite high up so when people in front stood I couldn't see the goal my end. Didn't even see Kane's turn and shot properly. There was much less standing in the second half, though that was due to us attacking the other end. I was able to sing sitting down.

Standing is honestly overrated. I say that as someone who has stood 90+ minutes at Crawley games over the years. You pay for a seat. Use it. Only stand for ovations at subs and goals.

Also, can we please stop this stand up if you hate Arsenal chant? Sod them. Sod standing. I hate them when seated, when standing, when sleeping but when we aren't playing them do not give them the time of day.

Flipping heck, this 'standgate' (as I'm calling it) is creating some drama.

I can understand both points of view. All I'll add is, in my opinion, it's pretty much human nature stand when you're pumped with excitement, or jump up when we score, or if a rash challenge is made etc.

Heck, the entire disabled section of Anfield couldn't resist it when Lovren scored.

Anybody have any idea on the levels of matchday revenues we generated? It must be the highest around the world by far? Open early, everybody going for food, lots of drinking. Id love to see the figure we posted!

if they are anything like what we do, a lot of those jumping up are most probably the persons in a wheelchair assistent.

when I buy a ticket I get to take someone to help/assist me

We were talking about the south stand where we are trying to make some noise and atmosphere. Sit in the north.

Standing is overrated? Good stay in the north east or west so you don’t ruin us
