The ousting of Daniel (COYS)

Big picture, get him out. Doing the right things every few years just to keep us on the hook is not enough. It’s more a law of averages than good management. This man will sack Postecoglou when he needs real investment. That is what we are dealing with behind the distraction of the current buzz.

‘How am I going to find out about our players?” Good question, how many times managers does COYS Dan have to use so we fans can ‘find out about our players?’

Another trophy thrown away, not to worry COYS Dan we know what your goal i$, euro football keep the lions at bay and the cash rolling in, looking forward to another 23 years of the same cause that’s what we’re getting.

COYS Dan may as well have got his wish to have us in the ESL to make up the numbers and get his guaranteed wonga as that’s all he wants from the PL and the CL anyway…

Game changer 😂😂😂 Mugs

The last few years of under investment and bad appointments sees me in the Levy out camp but..

getting Maddison, vDV and Ange in, whilst making 100m on a 30 year old wantaway player with a year on his contract is a pretty decent window i think in the cold light of day.

Could easily have done the easy PR option of getting Poch back.

couple of strong signings (RW and ST?) between now and close of window and it will be one of our best. Just saying.

There are many reasons for ousting him, but in my opinion this windows isnt one of them.
To be a good window, we need a striker to replace that bloke who was the Club's best ever goalscorer whom we've replaced in the XI thus far with a player who is not always seen as an out and out striker, a RW and a CB.

The window closes in a matter of hours. We still have deadwood taking up space and a massive chunk of wages. Ndombele, Hugo and Dier should have been dealt with long ago.

So yes, this could yet be a good window, but realistically, do we think we'll be able to sell those 3 and sign another 2 or 3 within 2 and a half days? I mean you don't need to be shot to see you're staring down the barrel of a gun.

This is what gets me is that people think that Levy got Ange in. Levy tried to hire Slot before realising the compensation was sky high, he tried to hire naglesmann before realising his demands he couldn't meet and he interviewed many others in the process before he landed at Ange so this wasn't a plan he put together this was just pure luck he ended up there. Just like it was when he hired Poch he got lucky. Just like he's got lucky with the mugs of fans we all are who constantly give him a free ride. 22 years of learning from our mistakes..... complete bulls##t!

Really sick and fed up of the sporting culture of failure these owners(Levy) have created at this club.

Before these people came in, this club had a proud record of having won the most FA Cups despite there being much bigger and richer clubs than us. Now we are down to 5th.

That team selection last night was a disgrace, if the coach really wanted to see what his other players are like, he could have rotated them for Bournemouth. To be honest, his excuse is really pathetic considering we have no Europe, this was one game he should not have put the fringe players in. There is no excuse for any rotation. I bet if it was a Champions league game last night, he wouldnt have made that many changes. The guidance for him to select a team like that must have been influenced by the objectives set for him by the guys at the top.

As others have pointed out, just like Jol, Redknapp, Poch, Jose and Conte. This new coach will be another one that wont be backed fully to achieve sporting glory. They'll be backed just enough to keep the interest up.

ENIC/Levy look like scammers as each season passes by.

Again (and without meaning to make this about you specifically) here is another example of someone being conditioned to think that this is ok.

none of us would disagree that the signings are good. The problem is it’s taken so long to replace the likes of Eriksen, Dembele, Rose, Jan, Walker that the rest of the squad is just bang average and that was what we saw last night.

a proper club that cares about football would’ve moved on those surplus to requirements ages ago and signed those quality players ages ago.

Our board and owners are way too slow and care way too much about their bottom line rather than football.

Very good!!

But at this stage pretty much everything that could be said has been so what else is there to say until something happens which reinforces a posters view on him. People are now firmly entrenched in their views about him, there's not many left who aren't in the out or BSODL side of things so likely going to be quiet outside of the squad building / transfer activity over next few days.

I believe last night means it's now 1 trophy in 84 attempts at the various competitions since Levy became chairman - a 'hit rate' of 1.1%.

Prior to that, postwar Spurs won approx. 1 trophy in every 12 attempts (rounding up, which looks better for Daniel). That's also excluding any weird and wonderful old trophies and charity shields etc. So while we were never Utd or Liverpool, we weren't absolute mugs.

Something's become very strange with the club's culture.

Outside of Chelsea, Liverpool and man city, who else is winning trophies.

Arsenal have probably had the barest 20 years in their club history. Utd can't muster a league challenge, and have only won 1 title in 5 years.

Newcastle, Everton, Villa, Leeds, Forest, who are all of similar stature historically have won nothing in 20 odd years.

This has as much to do with oligarchs and sportswashers taking the competition away.

Uefa have had to introduce an inferior cup competition, just to give other clubs a chance.

The whole idea of it being a competition seems like a bit of a fallacy, imo.

Spence is a microcosm of everything wrong with this bald warlock. Imagine being a businessman & thinking you know more about football than someone whose been in the game for 60 something years? And thinking you know more about one of the best managers of our generations system than said manager? What a fucking idiot.

And that's probably fair. I said my priority this season was to have no expectations and to just enjoy going to games.

So far, its been good. I really enjoyed Man utd at home.

Frankly, I expect a bit more than that. There is no reason why we can't compete for the domestic cups and the Europa League or Europa Conference League.

I am no Jose fan but there seems to be alot fans forget that he got sacked for wanting to prioritise a cup win over league position. Also people think last nights team selection was all Big Ange's idea. Not saying Dan (coys) picked the team but he no doubt planted a seed about priority.
