Let's hope the bald one has an epiphany and realises he is not the football guru he thinks he is.

I'm not holding my breath but we can only hope!
If he hasnt had an epiphany after 23 years hes unlikely tohave one now. Hs a hopeless case too full of his own importance and little man syndrome, but until we can dig up a multi billionaire to take them out we ar stuck with him

There's a little bit more at play now. Genuinely don't know how the window will play out from here.
Sounds like we are starting to make some moves. Signing Zaniolo and a RWB this Jan would be encouraging (doubt it’ll happen) but is it enough, will we then get conte another 5 top players he needs this summer and we will still have the issue that we don’t have a clear plan or strategy.

At least if we buy primary youngish players who have good technical ability then whoever our future manages are should be able to work with them.

Zaniolo would be good for now and future but Porro would mean after conte we likely need another manager who prefers a back 3 as we have udogie coming back soon too and spence.

What I'm hoping has happened is that Levy has spoken with Conte and has realised this is now or never and he needs to get his act together and support his manager. Signing Zaniolo would be a big indicator that he is wising up.

It was always going to take more than a few windows

Free transfers: Sam Johnstone, Christian Eriksen are no brainers if we can pull it off.

Maehle having the versatility to play RWB or LWB is very important. We need new wing backs but we also need depth so when one who is in form gets injured, just like Doherty has this year..there isnt a massive drop off. Kostic is the popular pick for a lot of people at LWB but I think we need to do whatever we can to get Aaron Hickey. Add Singo into the mix and bringing in Maehle, Hickey & Singo in as wing backs would be game changing.

Pau Torres, Bastoni, Gvardiol- yes please. Any of them. + 1 more CB in the NDicka, Lisandro Martinez or Hermoso list would suit us. Ideally, Gvardiol & NDicka.

Add a second striker and a deep lying midfielder and we're on our way to Conte's revolution.

All in, less than 150m without identifying specific strikers, midfielder options.

There's a little bit more at play now. Genuinely don't know how the windiow will play out from here.
I don't know if I am reading this wrong or the fact that being a Spurs fan has worn me down that much that I can't see the good in anything anymore thank you Daniel Levy but but this quote from Trix and few others of his from has me worried about the rest of this window and also the way forward for our beloved club.

Sorry guys don't know how the rest of those quotes ended up in that post, it was only supposed to be the Trix post there.

I still, probably naively, feel that if we really tried to get him that he’d come here. Although we’d probably have to convince him that Conte is staying.

Yeah. You would hope with Paratici and Conte already laying the groundwork in the summer he would favour us over them.

Tbh I actively hope we don't sign Zaniolo as I don't think Conte will be here within 6 months.

He's such a unique player and we need to ensure the new manager wants him before we commit to a big money signing on, presumably, a long term contract and big wages.

Only way it makes any sense would be if we signed him and Porro as a way of convincing Conte to commit to a new deal.

Is Diaby as good off the left wing as he is on the right? I’ve only seen him play maybe 5-6 times in full matches and he’s always been on the right for Bayer or France

There’s your Kulu back up/Son successor then

Yep he's one of the players I've really wanted to sign for a while now. Offers lightning pace and dribbling ability which we desperately need too, and if we switched formation to a 4-2-3-1 for example he could go RAM with Deki CAM.
