Will be interesting to see how serious Chelsea are about him. If they have marked him as their top CF choice I can see them going in hard for him.

If we can get Richarlison in we’ve sorted our left hand side, centre mid and backup forward all before July even starts. Get a CB and sort the right hand side too and sky is the limit this coming season.

Winks going to Everton, plus us giving them 35m for Richarlison coming to us, definitely works.
Then if bergwijn goes as expected, we can prob do a deal for raphina as well

Wrapping up a few deals with Everton that suits both parties looks to be the ideal scenario here as opposed to negotiating top whack on Raphinha with Leeds.
More you think about it, the more sense it makes.

if Richy is who Conte and Fab want, i’m happy. People are crying about Raphinha being the better player, but forget that it was the same thing with Diaz and Deki, and were thinking the january window was underwhelming before the two new boys even played a game. This time we actually have a solid project with real masterminds behind it. Trust. The fucking. Process

As someone pointed out in comments, £39m plus winks and the £39m is evertons.
Push that to £40m and winks then Everton only receive £36m cash.
also with winks thrown in for ‘free’ then they also won’t have a 20m negative coming out there balance

Raphinha is the glamour signing, but Richarlison fits us and Conte and like a glove. That's the reality - and it shows that the people running our club know what they're doing.

And this is why we have to keep several options open and "negotiate" with a couple of players/clubs at the same time... at the end of the day we might agree terms with Everton... but you never know what Richarlison and his agent are looking for... the same with other players... it makes sense to us yes ?

Although I agree with you in theory, Watford received a hugely inflated transfer fee, I think it was 50m, everything included.
Which is not exactly bad.
I think we can make this work, with little outlay, changes to the Dele deal, creative with winks and everyone is a winner.
Except Everton who will get relegated.
