If Everton are sending 20m our way for winks then a net spend on richarlison of about 35/40m isn’t too bad

Honest question.

Are Everton struggling with their wage structure?

If so, surely Richarlison is there for the taking.

There feels like there’s more traction with the Richarlison deal than the Raphina one. Potentially we’ve become involved with Raphina to draw Everton out. I would be pleased if we can get this deal done and in time for Richarlison to have a proper preseason with Conte.

Just for some clarity on Everton, they're in a financial mess. Genuinely. The club is up for sale privately as its owner is skint & won't finance them much longer without a big sale.

We also have a very good relationship with their board.

They'll take the money!

Yeah i really hope we get him.

Would of been really happy with him or Ralph but just think he fills our needs better and he's a work your nuts off shithouser as well...

Closing down from the front, nicking the ball feeding Kane and Son..

I think we're going to have a seriously strong side next season.

I'm not sure how I feel about us potentially spending £60m+ on Richarlison. He's a better fit profile-wise than Raphinha but at the same time it does feel like Raphinha can become a top player whereas I feel we kinda know what Richarlison is, a solid Premier League forward who isn't going to light the league up. For example, I'd be far more concerned if Arsenal signed Raphinha rather than Richarlison, even though Richarlison should also be a better fit profile-wise for them too.

Why can Raphinha become a top player but Richarlison can’t? Both same age, both done well for their country, both probably their current sides best players and done well in crap teams. Under Conte Richarlison could come on leaps and bounds, plus he’ll be playing with much better teammates.
Is it just because Raphinha is a fleet footed flair player? There’s different types of forwards who can be massively successful under the right coaching.

Think this is the right move IMO. Raph being linked to that lot may make us tempted to get one over on them but Richarlison is more suitable for our needs. Think he will explode under Conte personally.

Really hope this is true and gets done.

That's bang on. It's because Ralph has that silk about him and can bang them in from anywhere.

But Richarlison could be a far more effective player for us..in terms of Conte's style and covering squad needs

Richarlison plays anywhere across the front 3 even played on his own up top for large parts when DCL was injured loads last season .

the guy basically kept Everton up on his own over the last 6 games of the season alone .

definitely more a conte type than Raphinha

This might be why Arsenal are so bullish about landing Raphinha. Maybe Richarlison is our top target as Orenstien said.

I know this may sound optimistic, but I think we can get raphinha and Richarlison, plus get our defence sorted.

I do love optimistic ratings as well...

I’m a bit meh about this one! Would much prefer Raphinha! Who am I to judge, Conte and Paratici will know what’s best.

This transfer just feels right for some reason! Really like richarlison and feel he will flourish under conte and with our automations and excellent attacking players.
