Entire pub was full of on edge Arsenal fans, couldn't have been a better evening. Class from the lads. One Arsenal fan stormed out on the third goal a minute after half time. Turns out they're a hopeful bunch as spotted him actually still there hiding by the exit in extra time looking like was about to cry bless him.

I dont know how it came across on TV but I genuinely believe it had an impact on the goons. They are not used to playing in noise ( :) ) and it seemed to have got to them.
Seemed like a decent atmosphere on tv, but judging by what people have been saying it doesn’t seem like the full scale translated to tv. Tyler and Neville commented on it a lot. Said it was likely the best atmosphere they’ve been in this season.

South lower was immense tonight - singing, cheering, pinging about 40 million elastic bands at Ramsdale's head (who did well to keep his cool) - outstanding atmosphere.

Before kick off you could tell it was all a bit emotional - too many beers, too much Bolivian Marching Powder, so thank fuck we spanked them as I think it might have been a bit messy if not.

Absolutely comedy gold when an Arsenal fan accidentally let off a smoke bomb/flare thing when they were losing! Then again, the guy who let one off at the very end, guess he didn't want to take it home with him?

Also shout out to whoever organises some of the charitable stuff - the half time with Ryley was lovely - https://www.football.london/tottenham-hotspur-fc/news/ryley-keys-tottenham-penalty-jennings-23945221

Arsenal have falled behind 14 times in the league and lost 12 games. If Newcastle score first on Monday night it would be a mountain to climb for those fragile boys.

Yep just seem he has!

He is such an utter fucking bellend.

He is never honest and holds his hands up when Arsenal deserve to be penalised for something, always bitching about how unjust it is.

Didn't even hold his hands up when they got that dirty unsporting goal against Watford, such a classless individual.
But that's Arsenal fans in a nutshell.

They'll forget the 10 times that Xhaka should have been booked, meaning he should be walking a tightrope earlier. They'll forget the dodgy decision at Burnley a few years back. They'll forget the billion times they should have had a player sent off only for Wenger to state "I didn't see it".

I do tend to believe, luck favours the brave but they are literally one of the jammiest clubs in football and the amount of stuff that falls their way is crazy.

They have no right to complain when its the other way

Didn't think tonight would matter as we are behind still anyway. But... that seems to have properly deflated them and we are growing in confidence. Audere est facere. Coys!

Wow. Just wow. What a night. The crowd were sensational. The players were completely focused, and the scum were crap and deserved everything they didn't get (entirely because of our dominance). I felt those last 20 minutes or so, the scum just gave up. That's them all over. No fucking heart. No bottle.

Holding is a scumbag and a moron. I'd have LOVED to be a fly on the wall of their dressing room after the match, especially the conversation between Arteta and Holding :ROFLMAO:

What a beautiful, beautiful night. Three points. Three goals and a clean sheet.

Now we have to SMASH Burnley, and looking at Sonny when he was hauled off early tonight, the only thing I'd say to Burnley, is 'Be afraid. be VERY afraid'.

Did you see his face? He looked clueless and didn't know what to do.
He looked like the coach he is.

Thinks he's planned it all out from the start and is animated.

Then something unexpected happens and he can't process things quickly, doesn't know what to do cause it's not part of the plan.

I guarantee, their game plan was start fast, press Spurs, get a goal and then become more compact.

Why do I know that? Cause that's literally how they start every game. Good start that quickly turns into a rigid performance.

That's because he prepares his team that way.

It's why he sucks at adapting to injuries, red cards and his players getting caught up in situations.

People who are saying that this will be their best chance for CL for sometime are correct.

City and Pool aren't going anywhere, Conte is ruthless and manages games superbly, Ten Hag is a better coach, Newcastle may opt for an improvement on Howe by next year. Where does that leave their little project?

Yeah, just watched replay and felt like TV (sky) turned the volume down to maybe a 2 on the crowd, so really was pretty full on. Felt saka in particular sort of shrank. Need to do the same with Burnley..

To be fair though, if they had the volume up, well, I think all our songs had a LOT of swearing, so, can get it. I had a hard enough time explaining to my 10yothat no you can't sing "when I was a little boy, my mother gave me a little toy.." at school tomorrow.. Though I did teach him to swap "go back to Woolwich" in North London is ours so he can bellow that in the (North London) playground tomorrow..

Just watch the 2nd goal 4 or 5 times and was surprised to see how open Rodrigo was. They basically left him wide open and he moved into the open space. Well done on him but my God Arsenal's defense dropped a big one there.

This is what made Holding’s red card so incredibly stupid, and why Arteta shares the blame.

The tactics they prepared were to press hard and get stuck in - which is a good strategy against Spurs, we tend not to handle that well. But when Holding picks up the yellow card - that should have caused a shift in tactics - as it related to Holding.

Now Arteta probably counted on his players to intuitively know when to back off, but when Holding got a warning from the ref after the yellow, it’s on Arteta and Xhaka to make sure Holding know to stay away from contact.

Holding never had the brains to shift tactics on his own….

What a lovely result :) Top performance by our players.

Is Holding a Spurs fan ? He looked determined to get sent off from the moment the game started ?

What rubbish is this Arteta is saying after the match. If the game was spoilt it was spoilt by the stupidity of his own players. Is Saka going backwards as a player ?

I agree, but so was Kane.

Our best (and only) striker and there was precisely zero marking on him for the set-piece.

Presumably Holding would have been marking either Bentacur or Kane, but Arteta decided not to bring Ben White on after his CB was sent off, to do the job instead.

Really poor management.
