Surely they are all double vaxxed so hopefully won’t get sick and it’s just more of an inconvenience having to isolate.

I wonder if conte has given them fitness plans to do in their back garden? The marine will drive by their house every hour with a loudspeaker to shout at them to go faster…

Back in October I think they said less than 70% of premium league players were vaccinated.

From the information given being double vaxxed doesn’t stop you getting sick or even hospitalised with this new variant.
Hopefully because the players are in peak fitness condition and very healthy it’ll just be mild and they’ll be fine.

Id imagine we’re the first of many clubs this will happen to

This morning, I read the Pfizer booster will help in the defense of the Omicron virus.
I hope none of our squad are anti vaxxer’s

I'm double vaxxed - didn't stop me catching Covid at the match last Thursday! Feel like crap at the moment, and have done for a few days!

From my understanding I think a lot is still unknown with this new variant, hopefully and I can only imagine they are, they’re taking all precautions and being extra careful now

if both the prem games coming up are postponed and then potentially liverpool (looking at Hercules info) we are gonna have a nightmare fitting these games back in its no like we have training time now with Conte with the players isolating, with our small squad this could def hamper our chances esp if we end up staying in the euro comp

This scenario was always likely to happen. Says it all that the Premier League have not got a ruling to cover this situation. They have only had 20 month. I cannot see how as a squad we cannot play games or train for at least 10 days. To expect the team to then be ready to play before Xmas cannot be in the players interests from an injury point of view. Also makes you wonder where that other money grabbing organisation the PFA are?

There are other PL clubs hit. The scale I don’t know
Perhaps we will see rescheduled fixtures at the end of the season in the warmer month of May where the virus is not so transient.
This is crazy and a very serious time in our world and the world of football.

They will spend a fair bit of time indoors together going over tactics and in the gym as well as being out on the pitch. So it will spread easily when indoors and all together.

There were a few before/after first lockdown I think. Didn't we win a cup game as the other team had covid and couldn't play?
Sure they'll be indoors, but the centre is brand new, and the best in europe. The rooms will be spacious and ventilated. They are not changing in portacabins.
Plain old delta would struggle to spread in those conditions, but for all we know the players have been meeting up elsewhere for non-festive cheese and wine 'gatherings', and leaving do's (Ndombele and Dele).

Yep I was double vaxxed when catching it at the City game in August. Had booster few weeks back but pinged yesterday as apparently close to someone with Covid on Sunday ( and the only thing where I was interacting with anyone other than Mrs Topper was the match! ) had PCR test this morning and hopefully all good - although feeling under weather since Monday but discounted that as symptoms within 24 hours of the match and that’s way too quick!

Obviously Tottenham must be Covid central at present :(

Im coming out the other side of it now. Just feel light headed and a bit tight chested.

Do a winter break now , finish the season later, start next season later, cancel the World Cup in Qatar and move it to a better location the following summer

I took 2 lateral flow tests that both came back negative..... Then went for a proper test, and that was positive. I would hold little trust in a lateral flow test.

They’ll make the leagues use their academy players if they have to. They are cramming that farce of a WC in regardless. All the players can be in the hospital with heat exhaustion & FIFA would drag them out to play.
