A few noticable things....

We've obviously been told to be more aggressive higher up the pitch. Son actually competing for headers(every time) something I've never seen from him before. Our set piece marking has clearly been worked on, some marking zonally and then others picking up the threats.

I can't criticise anyone from that first half.
Son going in for header looks really weird but I like it. At 6' he should be trying to win more than he does to be fair.

I think we’ve looked pretty damn good. Lacking a bit of cutting edge up front.

Fuck City.

Think we've been decent. Look so much more organised than under Jose. And actually seem to have a plan on what to do when we have the ball.

Thought we had a very decent first half. Matching City and looking dangerous on the counter. Moura having a really good game and no brainfarts from our defenders.

Season is all downhill from here

Moura is lovely to watch when he runs with the ball, i just wish occasionally he would go that extra few yards himself rather than seek the pass and try to burst through on goal.

He does that hard part from 45-30yards out when players can chop him but just another few strides and they wouldn't dare touch him.

Hoping not to jinx it but Dier has been very efficient as well. He also looks leaner and meaner to me right now, maybe NES pre season has done him the power of good
