Thinking exactly the same. Poch said about the future being "painful"....If they have been told something that resulted in today's behaviour then all I can say is "Bad Move".
Can't believe they would do that though....not that stupid surely ??

Yeah, Poch might have done an Ole.

Selling Dembele in January purely for greedy financial gains over the balance and strength of the squad, then not replacing him is one of the most disgraceful things to have come out of this season.

With Winks fucked, we’ve not got a single player capable of holding the ball in midfield. I’m absolutely certain we would’ve picked up more points with Dembele in the team, but clearly that £11m was worth it. Wasn’t it?

By the way, what is the difference in prize money between 3rd place and 6th place? I’d hazard a guess it’s more than £11m.

Wankers.

I’m all pretty numb to it now and have almost accepted the ropey league next season. Maybe it will be a good way of blooding the next batch of youngsters whilst giving our supposed superstars a much needed break. May even be a route to winning one of those shiny things we hear other clubs talking about

Perhaps he's said that with the coming window nobody should consider themselves bulletproof and they are all playing for their places ??
They have obviously responded in a somewhat negative manner. (Fuck you ! comes to mind)

Or they are all about tense and nervous, knowing that their performances this season leaves them open to be sold.

But the big hitter's on this site feel there is nothing wrong because nobody was or has been available for us to buy, so if the prices are a bit steep this summer do we take it that we stay away from the transfer window again.

Unfortunately there are no youngsters coming through

Well in fairness, if Poch thinks Dier, Wanyama and the empty space Dembele has left can’t be improved by any midfielder in world football, who are we to judge?

It's not Everton I'm worried about, they're different away from home.

It's us that terrifies me. I'd be sceptical regardless of who was in front of us on the last day to be honest. If anything, a team Everton who likes to attack is better for us. Without Son, I would really worry about our inability to break teams down who sit back so I'm glad we won't be playing one of those defensive teams.

That's one of the massive worries, no one looks like bloody scoring.

I don’t think we will beat Everton.

But that's a debate for another thread.....

No I totally agree. The state of our squad is a disgrace. We’ve gotten progressively worse since we left WHL
Certainly I don't think that many would argue that it wouldn't be a disaster not to see any movement in the next transfer window.

I got called a hooligan by suggesting Foyth should have got a slap for the stupidity he did today
I meant it tongue and cheek, but as you brought up Robbo, he would have sorted Foyth out in the dressing room today
He came from Weymouth and transformed us and our mentality.
Well you are a hooligan to be fair ;-) but he should have. I would be surprised if Rose didn't give him one. Son as well. To many pretty boys, not enough boot putting in.

If you want to make some money out of our demise then we are 10/3 not to make top four

Watford are on the beach, mate. I doubt it very much.

If it was next weekend I would agree because they have an FA cup final after that so their minds will be on that but I think they will play well tomorrow. Plus troy is back to throw his weight around.
