Let's be honest. We have a much, much better squad than Everton. If we can't beat them at home, that's 100% our fault on top of the other unacceptable results. I couldn't care less what they do or don't have to play for. This has been in our hands for a long time and it's completely on us. Anything less than 3rd, or 4th minimum, should see Poch questioned and the players responsible subject to some innovative punishment. Obviously don't want to tire them out too much for next season, but perhaps they and their girlfriends would enjoy foregoing the first-class flights to the Maldives and instead going for a good old British camping holiday in Grimsby where they can practice not hitting people in the face just because they're annoying assholes.

How much of a better team do we have with no Kane, Winks, Son and fundamental exhaustion dragging the rest of the squad down?

Sorry mate totally disagree
Bournemouth were complete wank today,
Are you suggesting they were up for it or on it?
No, not that. They were crap but they happened to be the team we were playing. Given how shit we are at the moment, it seems you just need to turn up and not implode against us and the points are yours

Hardly a big deal for us anyway. Not like we’ve attracted top players over the last couple of season to the club because of it. Some big night - but the biggest benefactors of CL have been the owners. It hasn’t changed us.

They’re an investment group. They only care about money. They’ll never invest enough to take the extra step as it’s not actually really worth it to them
A full stadium and regular champions league football = ultimate success. They are trying to do it on the cheap with the team though unfortunately.

Been a ballsy effort to be fair but will come apart at some point, likely this season. Poch’s miracle working won’t last forever.

Everton conceded 2 in 7. We've scored 1 in 5 and now have Son and Kane missing. All adds up to a real clusterfuck.

Tbh I was sat with my sons and when I saw they had a young keeper making his debut, I feared the worse, not that the saves he made were great.. But i thought it would be typical us to make him a hero

Bournemouth were terrible. They were lucky not to be 0-2 at half time and created very little at home to 9 men in the 2nd half. Very frustrating to lose to them because we couldn’t keep our discipline

Good description. The lad didn’t do anything you wouldn’t expect from an average prem keeper

A point today wouldn’t have been the worst as we could have got top 4 with a draw vs Everton.
Now we have to beat them with no son or Kane, not confident

We honestly don’t deserve top 4. The results this last couple of months have been a disgrace. We are still in it because our rivals are also shit

Well if we make it we do really, if the results were the reverse of what they are currently, as in us starting shit and finishing strongly, I don't think anyone would say we don't deserve it because we started the season with relegation form. Not to mention we've had a lot of obstacles to deal with this season, more than any other team really.

It has been a terrible end to the season, but if someone told me prior to the season starting that we'd play most of the season with a centre of midfield consisting of Winks and Sissoko, Son leaving for TWO periods of the season due to international duty, no reinforcements of any sort in the summer or January, managing two periods without Kane due to injury and playing most of the season at Wembley again, then I wouldn't guess that we'd be anywhere near the top 4 to be frank.

The most we can hope for is to somehow squeeze through and really rest and rebuild for next season.

What really frustrates me is by not putting top 4 to bed today we go into the Ajax game not only on a downer, but risk draining ourselves on weds and still exiting, and then having to pick ourselves up for Everton with a depleted.,low on moral squad, I am seriously worried.

As much as we all didnt want it to go to the final day Arsenal beating a fully rested Burnely away just doesn't seem likely. And if they dont win it doesn't matter what we do against Everton.

As I write this I forgot about United
