The comparison between Soton and Burnley with Huddersfield is not relevant. The comparison between Soton and Burnley and us is. We should not have lost those games. But we did. Why? For many reasons. But one of them was we didn't accord them enough respect, certainly in the second half against Southampton we were utterly complacent and we paid the price. With all due respect Southampton and Burnley are different class to Huddersfield, they're one of the worst prem teams of all time. When I say no respect I mean we need to treat this the same way United used to treat teams back in the early 2000s
What do we lose by guarding against complacency?
EDIT: Every team, every team, will be itching to inflict our first home defeat against us from now until it happens. If we think just crossing the line is going to win us the game, we make that more likely to happen sooner rather than later.
