Attack is the best form of defence as opposed to sacrificing creativity for a make shift defensive central midfield. Play to our strengths.

With Winks out, we've got ourselves a conundrum that is, well, bad. Immediately I want to start Skipp as unfortunately, Wanyama is perma crocked. However, thinking about it, I'd move Eriksen a bit deeper and bring Son in. Why? IMO, we should press deep and put VVD under pressure. Babel showed a weakness of his that we should exploit. Having some pace in the XI will help with that.

Lloris
Toby Sanchez Vertonghen
Trippier Sissoko Eriksen Rose
Dele Kane Son

Gazzaniga, KWP, Foyth, Skipp, Lucas, Lamela, Llorente

Can't see anything bar a loss at Anfield tbh. They're pretty much full squad. Hard watching with 2 Liverpool fans next to you !

Please Poch do not go with a back 4. It won’t work.
Massive game for us, I’d probably take a draw right now. COYS
As for the team I’d go...

Given all our midfield injuries I really think we need to be positive in this one as it will be a miracle if we keep a clean sheet.

when United played Wolves in the Cup, they had just played Liverpool and had 3 injuries in the 1st half, 1 being Lingard. perhaps he played v Wolves not fully fit due to the squad being bare. it might back fire on him when Southgate picks his next squad.

so because your angry your looking at every angle, so if Rashford felt he wasn't fit as he missed the Wolves game, why commit and possibly aggravate an injury. if any player showed signs of injury when in the England camp, then they could of come back. ours wanted to play for their country.

I'm not doing anything about Salah, they had a friendly a not important game, he asked them if he could give it a miss they said yes. Kane as England captain, wants to play for his country

Rashford scores from Shaw’s pass, then Lingard makes the second goal today. Three England players who withdrew before the England games a week ago. And Utd draw level

What I would go for.......although I would play Wanyama in for Sissoko if he's fit enough.

Pointless arguing with you, if you didn't see there injuries in the Liverpool match, and don't understand injuries do recover then pointless continuing. Rashford has had 3 weeks to recover from a knock, in the end Lingard had 2 weeks off.

the only players we had that went there that might of had injuries was Alli and Dier. Alli played the full 90 v Southampton, and Dier was recovering from tonsillitis (not really an injury). what reason did we have for pulling any of the players out. did any of our players that went to England get injured in the 2 or 3 weeks leading up to the internationals

One thing that springs to mind reading through all these posts is that all our teams are pretty much the same with a few tinkering around the formation.
If anything this shows what we all know in that the squad requires major investment this summer with at least 3 top drawer players.
Anyway subs for today:
Gazzaniga
Carr
Gascogne
Ginola
Klinnsman
Falco
Lamela!

Ramsey, who withdrew from Wales squad a week ago, just nets for the Arse :inpain:
