I get that but we’ve been told his (few) targets have never been on in the first place. These things change in an instant, not too long ago we were so close to Keita Balde just for it to fuck up.

I'm trying to understand it from Pochs perspective. Okay we can get tielemans for like 20m apparently, but lets be real is that one player gonna do anything to the squad? So Poch is probably thinking whats the point. He's not a world beater; a young player with high potential. Poch probably wants him (thats if he actually want him) alongside a major signing which is why the budget I assume that is available is annoyingly low.

I think Poch is pretty confident he can achieve top 4 without signing anyone this window, hence the stubbornness. If I were him I'd be tempted to take 1-2 now, just so that's 1-2 less to worry about in what's looking to be a busy summer ahead for us.
Depends who they are, we can't clog the toilet further, we have spent the last 2 windows trying to flush turds already. If we can sign quality then great but I'd rather just make sure we get the remaining shit clear ready for the summer.
I do wonder if it would reach a point where DL would say "f*ck it" and bring one of those players that he and the other 2 on the committee rate (but Poch doesn't) just bc it makes business sense to hedge against Poch flying too close to the sun and missing out on the CL.I think both JJ and Herc have intimated that he has turned down some good options, I highly doubt we are talking about Stambouli's and N'Koudou's here.
I’d kill for a £100m budget. Imagine how good we’d be if each summer last few years we’d spent even £50m net.
Literally hours ago Poch contradicted that, pledging long term loyalty. ?Again if this is the case, than to me is Poch’s final stance - give me the best players I asked or I’m gone.
.
It won't because if you care to read Poch's comments he is heavily invested in the project. Just because he's been stubborn on signings doesn't mean he's moping about not happy with everything."Poch is being AVB-esque in his choices"
his era will probably end like AVB then history repeats doesn't it

can the project be "completed" when we are going to lose our key players without proper replacement? It won't because if you care to read Poch's comments he is heavily invested in the project. Just because he's been stubborn on signings doesn't mean he's moping about not happy with everything.
That's another thingcan the project be "completed" when we are going to lose our key players without proper replacement?
We sold Berba, Bale, Modric et all and look where we are now. This whole selling our quality players and won't get adequate replacement is nonsense. I bet we will be in the market, either for already proven quality or the likes of Foyth, Alli etc who will improve in time. We have continually gone on an upward trajectory regardless.can the project be "completed" when we are going to lose our key players without proper replacement?
