I think Spurs will put a first team out, CPL on hold til February, no trophies in the locker for a while and no chance of winning the PL. In an ideal world we would win 1_0 against an under strength Spurs and face Utd at home in round 4! I know we have had good times against big opponents in the past but I just don't think we are not cut out for this one, they have pace and sublime ability in buckets all over the pitch, I reckon there goalie is a better playmaker than any of our midfield! I don't think we have ever seen seen a team such as this grace the pitch at PP and hopefully will be a great day.
First team ??
Fair few of them interested in the money it will generate for them ... hoping they can somehow get a replay at Wembley
Good luck to Spurs they will need it to bypass Steeeve and the absolute colossus that is Manny Monthe. Need to defend for their lives, like the Lincoln game but 100 times more.
Spurs not takeing there cut ????? you must be kidding me .the days of the bigger clubs helping the smaller clubs are long gone .they grab every penny they can get lets face it howvels are they gonna pay for all the over seas premadonnas they buy .
Can't see spurs putting out the 1st team, usual bit part players with the stars on the bench if needed. Will be great to see internationals gracing the fields of PP. Will be a brilliant night can't wait, don't care about the result, we have nothing to lose, fluke a draw would be the best I would expect with a replay at the new ground.
think spurs will put out a decent looking side as they will be looking at thisvas best hope of silverwear this season .as league think is liverpool or man city .champions league not much chance there . But saying that we could grab a replay and back to wembley then that will make it 9 times the rovers played there .not many clubs can say that .
Looks like Spurs will have to get used to big speculation about their manager for the next six months. Might unsettle their season altogether. Not sure it'll do much to help us get a result against them, mind!
