Stoke once again signing players that if that happened on career mode I would have been pissed off by the fact that the game was unrealistic.

Ronaldo banned for five matches.....
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/40926988

That's what you get for taking your shirt off.....falling over for no reason and petulantly shoving the ref in the back....all very mature things to do....what a plonker !

To be fair he didn't dive but if he didn't take his shirt off then he wouldn't have been booked initially, can't complain about the push either which was ridiculous.

I anticipate a C Ronaldo hissy fit. Putting this red card/five game ban and the tax investigation together, he'll most likely decide he's being persecuted by "the Spanish authorities".

If he decides he wants out of Spain, I'm sure Mourinho will try to do a deal to get him to manure.

And maybe they'll have to sell Martial.....

Yet more transfer window domino theory. ;)

I see the BBC are devoting their whole day to the Coutinho saga. Lovely, keeps them away from us.
The Coutinho situation/Liverpools defending, the Chelsea 'crisis' and our comfortable win all came at the perfect time to distract from the shitstorm that was last week. The spotlight moves on quick.

They are about to buy the club (if they haven't already). The newest member in the "City Group". Absolute scum.
Agreed. FIFA really need to start preventing these things from happening.

Last summer City signed Marlos Moreno, Zinchenko and a couple of other players only to immediately loan them out with the intention of them to never step foot inside the Etihad. I now see that they are selling some of these players and, as you've pointed out, bought other clubs so that they can loan these players out. It's ruining the game in my eyes.

In all honesty i had completely forgotten about the Rose saga. Shows just how much can happen in a couple of days, in football

Wondering what effect this would have on VVD and potentially Wimmer transfer. Apparently this' been in talk for over a year so it shouldn't change too much...?

Southampton have today agreed to sell 80 per cent of the club
After a year of talks with Gao a deal worth around £210million has been agreed.

"I am honoured and humbled to become a partner of Southampton Football Club alongside Katharina Liebherr, who, together with her father, has been such a great steward of the club, its growth and success,” said investor Gao.

"Together, we have the passion and motivation to build on Southampton’s excellent progress in recent years as we look forward to an exciting next chapter for the club."

Southampton owner Katharina Liebherr confirmed the deal on the club’s official website.

"Following extensive and fruitful work, we are entering into a partnership with the Gao family and I am excited about what we will achieve together.

"Today is the start of a new and exciting chapter for our club.

"Mr Jisheng Gao and his daughter, Mrs Nelly Gao, with whom I have built a close relationship, share our values and ambitions. As a team, we will strive to build upon the strong foundation that is in place towards sustainable long-term success.

"Mr Gao, Nelly and I have full trust in Ralph Krueger and his management team. We wholeheartedly support their plans to follow the Southampton Way in the years ahead.

"But for now it is business as usual at Southampton Football Club and we must allow everyone at the club to focus on the first few weeks of the new season.

"I would like to thank the passionate supporters of the club for their ongoing loyalty and faith, and I look forward to seeing you soon at St Mary's.

"We March On."
