Agreed. I shall never forget the conversation I had with two former colleagues - one a Utd fan - in the summer of 2013. Ferguson had just retired and Moyes had replaced him.

Me: "I reckon with Mourinho back Chelsea will win the league, but the rest of the top 4 is any 3 from 5 (City, Utd, Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs)".

Utd fan (and these were his actual words): "You wot?! You can't tell me its not guaranteed that United will finish in the top 3".

They finished 7th that season. They haven't finished in the top 3 in any season since Ferguson retired.

Since when was anything EVER guaranteed in football?

Guess which set of supporters said this little nugget;

"Might sound far fetched but i think our manager has had a tip off that Kane is up to coming to our club and will use cash on trying to get him a number 9 and a proven PL goal scorer - why trying to sign ****** as he is a good crosser of a ball for Kane - would probably costbetween £100m to £120m but with spurs having a stadium to pay for they might be up to selling - especially as they know even with Kane they are garbage at Wembley and if they finish outside top 4 next season Kane's value will drop considerably"

Without any hesitation...United :)

They're advocating Kane to United (he'll get 200 goals) and Dier "is shit"

:shifty:

Wow, some stuff on there!

Bring on the hate but I'd rather pay 80m for Kane than Griezmann.

If Fergie was there he would have bought Kane and Alli over the last two summers for massive money and sorted their attack for the next 5-10 years.

If we are fretting this much ,image Spurs fans .Finish 2nd in the league and their top transfer target is Ross Barkley. Half their players linked with away move as well.

Ah your right, thick too them footballers.

The irony :)

Another of their posters is merrily selling our players off. We've been through this a thousand times since we got wind of the possibility of Walker leaving, but why, in a buoyant market, would Walker, with a lengthy contract, coming into his prime years, and blatantly tapped up by a rival who won't see to us, go for £20 million less than John Stones. And, yeah, Dier is shit...apart from allowing us to switch formations and tactics mid-game without a substitution. And let's not forget, as a defensive player we should be expecting him to improve that element of his game with age. Oh, yeah, and there is the other qualities he brings to the party, too. Yer gorra larf :)

They won't finish in the top 3 next season either. I think they'll be battling us for fourth along with Liverpool.

We haven't beaten them for a few seasons now.

That's why they think they are ahead of us. Unfortunately they don't realise that football actually exists outside of Liverpool
Everton are the peoples club in Liverpool. Liverpool are a over hyped tourist team followed during weekend breaks from fans from Norway, Ireland and North Wales..Try getting a hotel in Liverpool on a match day.. Impossible and says it all!

Very true. I work with a Liverpool fan who is originally from Stockport. He's moaned a lot about how each time he goes it's very quiet in the stadium because it's overseas tourists everywhere he looks.

Living and working in Milton Keynes I know many more Liverpool fans than I do any other club.
