Why he's been stuck out on the rw in his appearances this season makes no sense to me

He looks like a natural replacement for Mousa Dembele.

Do you think he could play in the same midfield as Winks and Dier?

not sure, i think wanyama would be perfect for him if he was to play there and if not him then dier. i wouldn't have him in a 2 with winks, not until they're both a bit more experienced anyway. those two in a 3 with wanyama/dier could work but i see josh and winks as both being halfway between "#4s" and "#8s", as long as eriksen is in the team then it would probably be fine but otherwise it might lack a little offensively.

Surely we're going to have a problem with both Onomah and Winks playing in the same position.

just like mason and bentaleb...
winks/onomah + wanyama/dier would be more balanced
That's not what I meant. I can see there being a problem if we have Dembele, Winks and Onomah all fighting for the same spot, one of Winks or Onomah is going to end up being unhappy.

They play different roles though

One of the best games, I have seen both of them have was Winks at AM and Onomah at CM against Chelsea

Also if Dier is a CB, then Dembele would be fine as a DM

For me I see winks in a more advanced role .just physically I think he'd suit that better a lallana David silva type role

It's usually only been for cameo's, maybe Poch wants him to develop his attacking play a little more and be more deadly in the final third. It is a frustration but we can't be too upset as we have seen Winks develop hugely and this wouldn't have happened with Josh getting the CM spots over him. Maybe next season will be more of a breakout for Josh and show the fans a little be more what he is all about, as there is so much potential i him.

winks has developed quicker but he's been played in his best position rather than all over the place, yeah I hope he gets more opportunities this season and kicks on

He looks incredibly comfortable in the deep lying play maker position. His best bet would be playing with Wanyama in a CM2 as Victor makes life easier for the partnering CM.

I think Josh would be fine with Dier, Wanyama or Dembele next to him. CM is his position and he is a completely unknown playing there at the top level, all he needs is an experienced player next to him to show him the ropes of first team football. It would be way too early for Winks and Josh together. But i'm excited for Josh next year.

It's a shame he doesn't have a 'Hulk mode' as he is a big lad, just has a bit of Berbatov about him, where it seems to come so easy to him. Would love to see him really dominate games more.

He has a lot of strength for a young lad - some of those Koreans were bouncing off him and they aren't Pee Wee Herman's.

Still Moussa is a monster.

Well, that was very encouraging. Can't say I've seen Onomah play that often, but of the games I have seen, I reckon his distance covered against SK must be double what I've seen before. Much sharper, less lethargic (-looking, maybe). And his team mates making much more use of him, which shows they trust him. Also, seems like that whole squad have grown up a bit, and started to play like a team, rather than individuals on the same pitch.

I watched the whole game. Wouldn't say that last bit was true at all tbh...

sent off, worst ref ever, given yellow for every foul, this was hardly a foul at all
CCV told off the assistant ref in front of the mic though, not very experienced of him

Neither of his yellow cards were bookable offences can understand why he got a bit upset. This ref is pretty awful.

Ref got a career average of 0.67 red cards a game, half of the games are at youth level.
Says it all, what a clown
