Going back to an earlier point about out pitch camber....

It's why I don't like sitting in the front few rows of the east and west.

When i did a stadium tour in January with big Chiv, he said the new one will have pumped drainage so the pitch will be totally flat.
In his days playing the camber was the opposite way, dipping in the middle causing puddles :ROFLMAO:

The camber was always convex, never dipped in the middle, the silly old fool! It just wasn't drained well and was simple grass and earth, (and a bit of sand) hence the puddles.

Everton are going to publish the details of their new proposed stadium today. Wonder if they will try and beat the 61,000 capacity

Edit: although they might just be announcing the land they are buying and the location of the new stadium

With all due respect all we can do is offer whatever support is needed to our amazing intelligence and emergency services. Anyone who's so minded and not monitored can easily kill several people before being stopped. A raised walkway just means it'll be on the high street instead, or he'll just use a knife or an improvised explosive instead. As hard as the task is, identifying and monitoring likely suspects is the only effective approach.

The other thing we have to do is not give in to the fear, live our lives around it and let them dictate the agenda. That's how they win. Four innocent lives were lost in Britain today - that's utterly tragic and I feel incredibly sorry for them and their families. However, it's likely that five innocent lives were lost in traffic accidents, as they are on the average day in this country. The terrorists aren't winning and indeed they can't win unless we give in to them.
True, there is nothing you can do if someone has already anonymously acquired a gun or explosives.
But these loan wolf, near spontaneous attacks using cars/trucks can be made less devastating.

Thinking off the top of my head none of the big London stadiums are next to main roads:- Wembley - industrial estate, Olympic stadium - Olympic park, Emirates and stamford Bridge - jammed in between rail lines. The further fans get away from the stadium, the more disperse people become and the less newsworthy an attack becomes. Our stadium will be quite vulnerable in comparison, right on a major route.

They've attacked football fans/stadiums before so we are a realistic target and this risk needs to be minimised as part of the work in the area in my opinion.

Didn't they come up with a concept ages ago where they'd share a ground with Liverpool and half the seats would be blue the other half would be red and the outside would be lit red or blue dependant on who was the home fixture like the Allianz?

I could have dreamt all this...

Just need massive neon flashing signs saying "DON'T BE A ****!"

Brent council discussing whether we are allowed to use the wembley's full capacity every matches instead of 51000. The residents strongly oppose the full capacity idea. Although I want the full capacity, I understand why they do not want it. I attended the leverkusen match, and I think the transportation was quite overloaded after match. It seems that they also afraid that Chelsea will use the full capacity in two years later

Looking at the latest pictures - I have my doubts that we will be ready for August 18. Going to be very tight.

If Brent agree it for us then they probably have to agree it for Chelsea and they will be there for 3 years so I can see them rejecting it.

The planning process in this country is diabolical. Ignore all the evidence, and listen to people who know nothing scared that "Tottenham Hotspurs" won't be good for the area and who apparently think all football matches kick off at 7.45pm. If you don't like being around major events, maybe the immediate vicinity of the biggest stadium in the country isn't the ideal place to live?

One supporting Cllr not present suggests #thfc could play all domestic cup games away and all PL games at an early KO... hmm.
