Slightly off topic but don't feel it's worth it's own thread.

Which opposition fans in the league do you hate the most?

Obviously it should be Arse due to the rivalry but for me it's got to be West Ham. Everything I despise - but mostly their inferiority complex I hate the most. The absolute meltdown they're going through this season gives me nothing but joy.
I hate chelsea more than anything in the world, but I'd be more satisfied with an NLD victory. Weird but thats how it is.

Yeah about the same for me.

Who do I despise most? Chelsea

Who do I enjoy beating the most? Arsenal

Who do I hate losing to the most? West Ham

Agree with everything apart from your last one. Liverpool are the team I hate losing to the most. Tiny teams like West Ham will always get the occasional win to brighten their otherwise miserable lives, but Liverpool fans are detestable. Plus I sit opposite a Liverpool fan at work, and even on a good day I want to set fire to the gormless stuttering fuck.

Cundy's a Chavski shill, he used to work for Chelsea TV, of course he thinks we should sell the Chavs our crown jewels.

Any room for Liverpool on that list?

Y'know it's funny that we've had this issue on here and among Spurs fans about the loathing for Liverpool, as even as an American child I knew I didn't like them. All of the guys around me who picked them growing up were full blown twats. I didn't know much about the Prem at that time, but I knew I didn't like Liverpool, end of.

Now though, Liverpool would fall right under Arsenal for who I enjoy beating the most. West Ham though are simply in another league for me in how much I hate losing to them. The year Fat Sam got three - fucking three on us - was just awful. Their fans' celebrations, which look much like a sty of pigs having a detestable orgy, are just disgusting to watch. I cannot fathom anything worse in sports than losing to them.

Three fuckin times in one season. My god how delightfully far we've come in such a small amount of time since then.

A perfect example of why I loathe them.....

I hated Cundy even when he wore a Lillywhite shirt, always been scum

Yup, agreed. All of their fans, and many former players, seem to have this mindset of sheer superiority to us, which is objectively mindblowing. Their delusion about not being propped up by Russian oil is just astounding.

"... they could move to a proper club with ambition."

Get fucked. Proper ambition is finishing above you several times in recent seasons despite having a squad which didn't even cost 1/3 yours. You have money, and fuck all for else.

To be fair to Cundy, he always speaks well of spurs and loves MoPo, he said if they sold Costa he'd go after Kane but also said they wouldn't have a chance of signing him. I actually like Cundy.

He'd lose credibility as a pundit in a heartbeat if he spoke ill of Poch though. From a neutral standpoint, and even from a rival's standpoint, no one can deny that what the man has done is spectacular. Furthermore, all Englishmen should be a fan, as no single person in the game is doing more for England football at the moment than our Argentine.

I don't know what Arsenal fans you lot have met but I grew up around some of the most unbearable tosspots I have ever known.

I cannot stand Arsenal fans.

I don't know if it's just me but whenever I meet someone for the first time and they introduce themselves as an Arsenal fan I think two things:

1. That makes sense, I thought there was something wrong with you

2. I now know we will never truly be friends

They are insufferable.

Based on much of this season and the games they are talking about, these were fair comments. I got people getting all ansy with me for saying something similar. Claiming Alli has scored those as a midfielder is disingenuous, many of those games he has been atrociously bumbling around almost as a second striker - certainly contributing very little else in many of those games.

That's not to denigrate his achievements , even as an attacking midfielder, aged 20 his tally is impressive, and the last couple of games have probably been two of his best in a Spurs shirt.

But what those bods were saying isn't outrageous and some if us have said similar.

You are the Craig Revel Horwood of SC. Very harsh, not always fair and hard to please.

And their excuse is that they played the youngest squad or some such nonsense.

Spurs have been challenging for the title two years in a row with the youngest squad. Never hear that brought up from that lot or the pundits.
It was well documented by pundits last season
