He's been in the middle a hell of a lot and not done much really, and he doesn't provide any width either. Sorry to say it as it I know it upsets some people, but he really hasn't been great and deserves the hook at half time.

Well if we learn nothing else from this game it's that Lamela is a terrible wide player and Carroll isn't a central midfielder.
