I think with Andros it's that Poch has worked with him for a year and can't see any improvement or him grasping what Poch wants.
So move him on and make room for somebody new he can work with.

edmonton on the 11m we got from the sale of brook house being earmarked for transfers: surprisingly that bit is actually true

Good signs for the stadium project if this isn't being swallowed up by that, funding must be looking good.

Nice to see another £11m in the kitty in case we do go for another net spend (I really hope we go over this year though).

Out: Paulinho 9, Holtby 5, Stambo 5, Capoue 7, School 11, Andros 15, Vlad 5, Kaboul 2
In: Trippier 3.5, Alderweireld 11, Wimmer 4, McCarthy 15 (+Lennon)

Would leave us with around 25m for two WF prospects.

That said with the large number of outs we can probably afford to go into the red for once if only for the saving in wages...

Anybody else read from the ITK that it could be 2 MFs coming in?

JM and Rabiot........ Both seem to want us and it's just terms (we want a loan to buy) for Rabiot and cost (they want £20+) for JM

True. At the end of the day, Lamela & Townsend both had a fair shot at the starting line up, and Lamela won it, fair and square. So Townsend is a candidate for a move.

We already have two incredibly high potential CMs in Bentaleb and Delle Alli, I don't think a safe and experienced option is a bad idea, especially in this position. There's a reason Martinez rates him so highly.

WF on the other hand we HAVE to go for the young and high potential route IMO.
Ask yourself this then. Would you be happier if tomo we signed McCarthy rabiot/Kramer?

Only problem with that would be JM, Rabiot and Bentaleb would all want to play every game...

I'd probably be happiest with Kramer, but I think McCarthy would be a very logical signing and would be very happy with it. Rabiot has tons of potential but not sure about his application, or how he would pair with Nabil.

Basically I'd be happy with any of them. The safe bet nature of McCarthy, in a position we must solve this summer counters the risk we would take on the sexier signings settling quickly.

I'd be very pleased with Kramer or Rabiot, but I'd be more than a little concerned that they wouldn't hit the ground running, wouldn't be here for the right reasons etc. McCarthy is premiership-proven and is, apparently, itching to join us. That makes him a much more attractive proposition.

i thought Kaboul turned down Sunderland because he was unhappy at Levy for trying to force him to go there so he didn't go to Sunderland because if the way Levy treated him over the move, booked a plane ticket for Kaboul to go up there without even telling him

When Andros scored that goal against Italy my 6yr old Son Alfie said "Why doesn't he do that for us Dad?" which sort of sums him up for me (Andros not Alfie) It's a shame coz he is one of our own & a fan but so was Jamie O'Hara & Jake Livermore. If the moneys good sell him & good luck to the lad.

Ryanair? Kaboul should have felt honoured that Levy didn't use a discount code for National Express Coaches...

There's further ITK on FTL that Kaboul has a medical this afternoon at Sunderland.

Could get someone in trouble so not posting names or context.
