Personally I would sub Eriksen for Holtby. We need some extra grit and pressing in midfield. Keep Capoue in defense as we need a ball playing centre back to give us a better chance of keeping possession. Which we are gonna need to do being a man down.

Agree Eriksen needs a bit too much time on the ball Holtby would beef up the midfield and why are all the dangerous coming from Rose`s side they need to stop balls coming in it is still a weakness..

Not quite, we're not as open as we were last season but going forward, we've offered nothing.

Even before the sending off, Lennon and Lamela were tucking in and creating a cluster f*ck behind Ade. Lamela's capable of coming inside and creating a chance but Lennon has disappeared into a black hole.

This is the thing that concerns me and has all summer. Basically, if Eriksen has a quiet game we offer fuck all. And if Ade is off the pace we suffer badly.

If either or both get injured we will struggle.

We need Townsend.

With 10 men we are really going to need someone to get us up the pitch and break with pace, have some shots.

Penalty is fair enough but to say naughton deliberately prevented it is absolute tosh. He is a yard away when Nolan thumps it on the turn. How any official can justify that decision baffles me.

Performance has been disappointing but I didnt expect miracles overnight. Either we give poch time to work or it is pointless. Bentaleb is a good prospect but at the moment I dont know why he is there. Don't see him making tackles or getting the ball into our attacking players in the right areas. We need a more creative player there who can play passes into the final third and link midfield and attack.

Disappointed that now we can't work on this system and instead have to resort to surviving with 10 men.

Just get behind the team ffs. It is going to take time but disregarding poch, players and this team is just embarrassing after 45 minutes.

We haven't got the bollocks hold out with 10 men.

Sad but true.

2-0 west ham.

Get real people!

Never thought I would see rose or naughton in a spurs shirt again to see them both starting is a joke.
There's a line from Princess Elsa that would perfectly fit this occasion... If only i could remember it?

I wasn't talking specifically about this game and it was just a flippant response so I don't know why some of you are getting your knickers in a twist.
the guy said he loves watching game in oz as they are all on live. very true however over the course of a season i would venture that most of our games would have a 3pm kick off in the uk? also given that most of the games are played during the winter, they will be on @ 2am in oz. I was out by an hour but I can work out my time zones.

And by the way, the west hame game started @ midnight over in oz so not sure what game you were watching at 10pm...

Younes has no pace, Chriches can't jump, Dawson is past his prime and Dier is unproven.

Happy birthday Jan!

i know I'm in the minority but I'd have sooner played Harry Kane over Adebayor, would have retained postion better, made runs in behind even if he might have missed any chances that could have come his way. ade don't lead the line half as well as some people on here think.

The frustration with Adebayor is we have all seen him lead the line superbly and cause the best centre halves in the league trouble non-stop throughout a game.

Safe to say, today isn't one of those performances though! The ball was just continuously coming back at us in the first half.
