Yes as far as i'm aware it's good itk (the reason it was deleted due to poster putting his real name).
Capacity about the same. 56-60k
Waiting for cpo although we increased our bid for the land.
Confident to start this year. Finish 17/18.
Slight change to design with more glass.
Possible move to upton park or wembley to finish stadium early.

Fu spurs i'm a whistleblower and i don't care. I'm now going to live in the crimea and watch games on a free stream with lots of adverts for russian brides :p

So, David Beckham has decided to build a stadium on the waterfront of Miami and it'll be ready in 2016.

My guess is that we'll still be talking about bloody Sainsburys when his frachise play their first match!

Cheers S.Mouse, a good read, a bit pompous but still good.
One obvious line that caught my attention is:-
Spurs’ expansionist plans also involve demolitions that could break some good village bones and work against the fragile sense of place if not handled carefully
.
I'm not sure what those bones are.

Also in today's Standard was some talk about Crossrail 2, from Tottenham to Wimbledon. Having looked at the proposed route, if it went ahead it would stop at Tottenham Hale.

I've tweeted Boris Johnson to ask him if it could incorporate a station at Northumberland Park, under the guise that it would help regenerate an area in need of regeneration. Whilst I really mean can they incorporate a station nearer to WHL (or the new WHL) to improve transport options.

I doubt I'll get a response, I doubt even more funding for Crossrail 2 will ever happen in my lifetime, let alone any lobbying to get a station at Northumberland Park to be incorporated into any plans, but felt there's nothing to lose by tweeting.

Who knows, if enough people support it, or tweet Boris, it may gain some support.

I've tweeted David Lammy as well.

I'm guessing a bit, as I haven't read the original article, but one of the odd things about the supposed 'shithole' (© spurscommunity) that is Tottenham is that it contains a remarkable number of seriously good old Georgian buildings. Tottenham was there before London ate it, and, like a lot of London's original villages, if you look past the often run-down or merely grubby facades, you can see really good buildings all down the High Rd, in Bruce Grove, up toward the Roundway and all over Tottenham. I don't think the four buildings that THFC were forced to retain in the stadium scheme are amongst them and I would think that any major demolitions for the Stadium Way would avoid the older buildings, but that could be what the article is getting at. And that's really the council's scheme, not THFC's. It's hard for me to see anything particularly precious, either socially or architecturally, that is being demolished as a direct result of the stadium development.

EDIT: I've read it now and it's not a bad article. But I have no idea what that line quoted above is getting at. There's not a clue in the article. Seems a random comment in an otherwise well-thought-out critique.

I doubt that they'd put a CR2 station at Northumberland Park. Getting one at Tottenham Hale is pretty good as it is, if you could catch CR2 there it'd be fairly easy to get a train to Northumberland Park. What we really need is better service from the company running that line

I like the idea of the club forcing the hand of the council in ensuring the regeneration of the area does happen, and having a real say in how.

ed replied: The real battle is who is going to lead it. Council trying to freeze out Spurs who have been suggesting this redevelopment for 5 years. If Council lead it we can assume nothing will happen. Spurs have done something clever the Council don't know about yet.

This is why I have no time for those 'fans' who criticise Levy. He's consistently brilliant in securing the best possible future for the club. His work with the transfer side of things is only part of his mandate. People tend to forget about what is going on with regards to the redevelopment of the club, Including our fantastic new training ground and the stadium he is trying to get built, which, no doubt, the club itself will end up paying very little towards.

I don't see why the Council would want to freeze us out.
