Last season we were linked with these players with Jol as manager. Would you recommend we sign them for next season with Ramos at the helm:

Here are a few that i can remember:-

The names from Chelsea - Ben Haim, Sidwell and Wright Philips or even Bridge.
I would love Joe Cole to be a Spurs player.

The names from Man Utd - Silvestre, Carrick

Real Madrid - Sneidjer, Batista, Robben (was chelsea last season)

Blackburn - Pedersen

Liverpool - Kewell, Crouch, Benayoun

Man City - Petrov

Just to name a few.

Sneijder yes of course, he'd be awesome for us but won't happen.

None of those from Liverpool.

Joe Cole, yep again would be great for us.

I quite like Benayoun actually, I wouldn't mind him. He's pretty versatile as well.

I'd like Ben Haim as main backup to Ledders / Woody.

Petrov, Wright-Phillips and Carrick would also do nicely - would have liked Bridge before we got Bale but not now so much.

Sneijer not sure how would cope in Prem and Robben too much of an inury-prone premadonna.

Pederson and Crouch really undecided on...

Ben Haim is a good shout, especially as he has just come out saying he doesnt rate grinch grant. And him going on a free to chelski will mean we can get him on the cheap, like 3mill id guess.

Sidwell is playing in the reserves for gods sake, wouldnt mind him for 3mill too, as a replacement for tainio/ghaly.

From the rest i wouldnt mind silvestre to replace chimbonda (if he's over his injuries).

It don't look like Sidwell and Ben Haim are the sort of players that Ramos will go for.
I believe we MAY see a few Spanish players or from the Spanish League come to London.
Ramos has stated that he will scout everywhere for good players for Spurs.
That said i never thought he would go for Gunter, Woody and Hutton!!! They are doing really well specially Woody and Hutton.
I think we should go for Joe Cole for the side issue and Carrick in the midfield again.
I doubt they would want to come though!

Ramos never bought those players. It was our board that did.

No no no, only bad things that happen to Spurs are down to the board. Their sole purpose is to drag the good name of THFC through the mud.

Like Chelsea and ManU are selling clubs.
Why not kaka and C. Ronaldo then? :duh:

Chelsea will deffo not deal with us over Arnescum gate.
We would have to offer Man Utd you know who to get Carrick.

Not sure he would really make a difference to the team though
Is he any better than we already have?

He's not the best player ever but Benayoun gets his fair share of goals and assists, and even if he didn't start, we don't have a player on the bench who can come in anywhere and up the tempo. Bringing on Tainio or Huddlestone as a match-changing sub isn't exactly exciting, if you see what I mean. To be honest, if we're looking for a versatile midfielder, he's probably better than Steed. He'd be good competiton for Lennon on the right if he doesn't get his act together, and I don't think he's any worse than what we've got in the middle.

So by all means I wouldn't go splashing £10m on Benayoun but I wouldn't mind him coming for a good price, if Steed got sold for example. Having said that I'd rather we just bought Modric, Lucho Gonzales, Ronaldinho and Arshavin :|
