Agree does worry me about the England match and Uruguay could have a home advantage.

The thought crossed my mind a few times. The lads will need to pressure them more as opposed to sitting back vs Italy. Just got to go for it now,

One thing I want to say of a positive nature in regards to Spain, even if it is against the grain.... Iniesta is still a phenomenally classy player. His touch, dribbling is passing is still top top drawer.

I don't think they destroyed them, they were lucky against Barcelona, Napoli, Bayern and pretty much the luckiest winner tbh. Messi and Robben both had penalties to win it and missed
I just feel that Chelsea showed to the world that you can win the biggest tournaments by sitting back. And now it happens in every league against the big teams. We were a victim to it last season.

That chance just about sums Spain up. An incisive team plays two passes and takes a shot. Spain play six passes and get crowded out when Chile's defence gets back.
I think thats because they know torres is up front, the team in 2010 would push it straight to Villa

I disagree hugely this tactic isn't anything new, if anything nobody would copy them because they know they wouldnt have the same luck.

If anything when mourinho won it with Porto and Inter proved you beat the big teams when sitting back. That inter team beat a much stronger Barca

Don't know why he bothered to foul Torres. It's not like he would have gone on to score.

That looked like a dive by torres(i.e. not enough contact to bring him down)

Claudio Bravo looks like he may keep Ter Stegen out of the barca first 11
