Extremely harsh.

He's been a world class 'keeper and will go down as a Real Madrid legend bursting through as a teenager.

Yes, he's on the decline currently but he deserves more respect.

Really? Why exactly, he did well with a gallactico team ahead of him, never thought him as world class, that would put him at the top of the tree, often probe to errors, not shit by any means but his decision making sometimes is woeful and has happened all through his career. As others have said he keeps out keepers who are far better than him.

Opinions of course

I wouldn't be surprised if John Terry was on the touchline waiting to run on the pitch at the end of the game and celebrate with Holland.

What bugs me about Spain is that they have the arrogance to assume that their style of football is the only way the play. They never have a plan B, not picking Llorente despite his amazing form this season shows that. I'm glad they're not doing well and hope they don't win. Time for a change.

Spain are in so much trouble now. Chile will probably only need a draw against them to go through.

Did i hear right no Negrado either?
No Negredo, Michu and Llorente, nor others that should be there.

If I was spanish manager I wouldnt have picked that squad
Mata
Silva
Iniesta
Carzola
Koke
Xavi

They don't offer too much different. Don't underestimate Spain, those basterds have the ability to come back from this

OK, like many of you, I was on a real downer after last night's shocking, wankfest of a match.

Tonight, I am feeling much, much better thank-you - at Spain's expense. (y)

Robben has always been a very good player but he always used to strike me as a bit of a big game bottler. Heynckes seemed to really finally get the very very best out of him.

The missus just said we are decking the house in orange tomorrow, I told her yesterday not to bother as the Dutch would go out in the 1st round

Tippy tappy or death. That's the Spanish philosophy.
