i thought we had the 2am game? glad we dont
Im gutted we dont, this is what the world cup is about imo and watching football 2am in a packed out town would be amazing

The only reason fifa changed it, was because of the TV companies and the fucked thing is apparently this is going to make it harder for the players perform as the humidity will be higher

I think 11pm on a sat is a good time.

Frankly, I think it's a nightmare.

Stacks of pissed up Englishmen, hyped up by the tabloids, watch a frankly dire performance by England, get their righteous indignation stoked by jingoistic commentators claiming non-existent cheating and set off at 1am to torch the local Italian restaurant to avenge 'our boys'. Ordinary people suffer and I can only be grateful that the Uruguayan and Costa Rican presence in this country is pretty non-existent.

2am would have been far safer all round.

It's Brazil 2014, not Mexico 86, your dystopian scenario just isn't going to happen. Besides, judging by personal experience 2 am would have been much worse for pissed up idiots than 11 pm.

Am I the only guy that's hoping that Hot Tub Cinema will be broadcasting the games?

I fear the worst, but, for now, let's hope I'm wrong.

Oh, and by the way, any posting that can bring both 'dystopian scenario' and 'hot tub cinema' into play deserves a Winner rating all day long.
