We are being physically bullied. The biggest issue is the 3 up top who just lose the ball every time they get it. We need kane on to hold the ball up.
The midfield not having any real physicality has been a problem for so long. Skipp and Hojbjerg are solid but they don’t dominate like Dembele and Wanyama used tox

To be fair, they’re not getting any decent service either.

I think we are going to need to be cute with rotating the players to take yellow cards for the team with Traore and Jimenez and Co causing us havoc. I'd be amazed if 2 out of 3 from PEH, Dier, and Sanchez don't also accumulate one in the second half, and will Skipp and Tanganga survive as they are walking a tightrope, it's precarious to say the least.....

Every away game is going to be very tough for the first few weeks as stadiums should be rocking. Nuno needs to change things though we’re being outnumbered all over the pitch. Lloris hasn’t had much to do though which is encouraging, even though Sanchez has looked particularly shaky versus Traore.
Sanchez looks shaky against a small afterthought of a fart on a windless day.

Main presenter dude on NBC has no clue what he's talking about.
"looks like spurs won't be bringing on Kane, they have the lead"
Bruh, we've been appalling. We need Lo Celso and Kane on ASAP to get some control in the game.

It's like people dont expect Wolves to be bang up for this and have us under kosh for long spells in their first home game with fans in Gods knows how long...

Jesus...

Not to mention Nuno returning.

Cant believe they dont just roll over for the mighty Spurs.

It’s not about how they are playing, it’s about how we are playing.
40 % possession with only 1 shot on ? which was the penalty.
I dread to see our penalty box touches too.
Just feels like an all too familiar feeling from last season …

I’m sure Nuno wants us to be able to play out and string attacks together, but tactics are downstream of player abilities. The players he selected to start aren’t capable of withstanding the press. In order to gain a foothold we’d need to change the midfield and bring on Kane, but with Skipp and Tanganga both on bookings I’m not sure we can make two subs at this early juncture.

For me, PEH and Skipp have been fine. When they’ve had the ball, they’ve both kept it well and player progressive passes. Skipp in particular has been looking forward.

Wolves have played very well. Pressed really strongly and made it difficult for us. But then they have not had any clear cut chances

I think we need to see more from the front three. More interplay, they lose the ball so easily. Moura has been guilty of that, but so too Son and Bergwijn.

I’d perhaps bring GLC on for Lucas or Bergwijn in 10 mins

Reguilon looks lost out there.

If we're honest. It's not the first time.

He's fine when he's got space in front of him to exploit. But pretty much every game he's been attacked with regularity, his defensive frailties have been exposed time & time again.

Wow that was really not good. Result fine, but we need more attacking threats and if its only counters, but we have no clue.

And clear to see we need that Tomiyasu guy in who could now come on and replace Tangz. We can not trust Doherty here.

Kane on for Bergwijn please.

Crikey. Well on the plus side, we've kept them out and Hugo hasn't had to do very much more than safely collect a couple of half decent long range efforts. And with a bit more composure the counter attack is very much in play.

On the negative, Japhet and Skipp being in the book already is a real problem. They've probably only got one free ankle tap left, and are only a shirt pull away from a red.

I'd like to see Bryan for Stevie, but think that Nuno will keep things as they are for 10-15.

Oh, and a good pen from Dele. He didn't look very confident but tucked it away well.
