Stayed up last night watching the women's curling and BBC turned to a different sport just as the 8th end was starting .

Canada is known for hockey and curling. The US doesnt even know curling exists ffs. Yet our women beat them in hockey for Gold and our mens curling beat them in the semi and goes to play for Gold. Not a great look for Canada today.

48 states don't know curling exists. It's huge in Minnesota and Wisconsin -- where all 10 US Olympic curlers come from.

As for hockey, my home state is called the State of Hockey for a reason. In reality, Minnesota is just a southern version of Canada.

Don't NSW and Victoria have a few good resorts? My sister went skiing a few times when she was an exchange student over there, sent some pictures with what looked like good slopes.

But yeah, if I hadn't known that would've sounded a lot weirder.
