I rated him quite highly actually. That season when Verts was out injured and Kev seamlessly stepped in. Did very well. Poch never gave him a proper run after that. Hope there is someone good lined up. Wish Kev all the best

Agree although I think part of the reason he never got a real chance after that was because he made some mistakes in the Arsenal game the following season and never got a look in after that. But looked really strong when he stepped in for Vertonghen, I remember someone describing him as "Vertonghen in a fat suit", which although is more than a little harsh still reflects well on his abilities

Well it was the own goal - and it was the only one game. He is a decent defender. Must be some training thing that Poch was not too happy with.

He was fine in the Arsenal game actually played really well, it was the Liverpool, Monaco and City match in which he was exposed which is a little unfair I guess but I think we outgrew him especially when we went to 3 at the back, he couldn't handle it.
