Call me crazy but what does everyone think? As attacking as city.....

Trippier----Sanchez-----Jan-----Rose
------------------------Dier------------------
---------------Eriksen-----Lamela--------
-------alli----------Kane---------Zaha-----

Of course son is away for sometime and moura will have a big season
id personslly prefer big vic but it wont happen. But i think it could work in most games. We could press the **** out of pretty much every team out there with that energy. Grealish on the bench with a few other options too.

We're struggling to get a deal done for Grealish, there's almost 0 chance we're able to maneuver for Zaha.

Crazy.
I quite like the idea of that but I would play Ali deeper and play son or Lucas

Fully agree. I find it hard to imagine Citeh fans were bemoaning the addition of another attacking midfielder in Mahrez. This is the team that walked the league with an abundance of attacking midfielders and then tops it up with another. Strength in depth and then some.

This is going to be especially important this season I feel with so many players having a long summer of World Cup football added to the mileage. Being able to rotate players when they undoubtedly tire this year will be important to maintaining success and avoiding injuries.
I dread to think how Harry will look come Christmas, he could barely move in the second halves of the Sweden and Croatia games.
City will be able to field a second string 3 ACM very nearly as strong as the first.
I really hope we start wrapping up some signings soon. They need to be with us. I suppose at least Zaha and Grealish are picking up their match fitness but we must be the most frustrating team to support through any transfer window. It seemingly takes forever to get deals done.

Personally I wouldn't go over £50m/£55m for him but with the market shifting I'd set the top end, the very very top end being £60m-£65m.

I think Levy has a really tricky few decisions to make this summer as the fees are over inflated and there are certain positions and players that would make the team better in what I'm sure will be a bit of a dog fight at the top but being held to a kings ransom for Zaha I wouldn't not stomach. It really does depend on what's going on behind the scene when with Levy & Poch.

HG wise I'm pretty sure we only require 1 so I'm hoping that will be Grealish, but when it comes to Zaha if Levy can get something shifting at around £60m I think he'd have done a very good job all round and Palace would have got about £10m his actual rate

This is all fine hypothetically of course but to get the quality player you want it seems a premium price has to be paid to tempt the selling club.
No way Allison, Richarlison and Pogba are worth those fees to me but that was what had to be paid.
To Palace you could argue a premium of whatever an extra year in the premier league needs to be added to tempt Palace.
All clubs have money now, no one really needs to sell a player. More than likely you have to over pay to get them.
It it what it is whether we like or agree with players’ transfer values

Yeah I just read this, interesting article. Definitely fits with the itk. Despite no signings this window is getting quite interesting.

I did wonder a few weeks ago why they’d made no signings. Their wages to income ratio is crazy too. I guess that what happens when you pay benteke over £120k a week.

I thought Palace’s finances were ok but after reading this, they really do need to sell Zaha

Probably what @Breezer was referring to earlier in the thread.

ES article from yesterday backs this up too:

So Spurs and Chelsea are in for both Martial and Zaha, with no other real competition. Hopefully that means we have a good chance at getting one. I'd love either!

Cant confirm source but a mate has said that Chelsea and Spurs have a fee agreed for Zaha
Would you consider this mate to be reliable or someone who likes a drink? Would link up with Herc's itk that we know the price for Zaha but we would have to move otherwise he will go to Chelsea.

I would be happy with either, so I’d love it to be down to Poch getting whoever he wants more.

Would so much rather get Martial if we actually have a chance of getting ether. Seems there is going to be a lot of juggling going on in order to get anyone.
