Chop off the bottom of their socks and start the top part over white sports socks?

Do weird hop skip and jump bollocksey things when coming on as sub or something. Or go through some ritual where they kiss a ring or a tattoo or somesuch, cross themselves and hold both hands up pointing to the sky when coming on. It takes about half an hour to go through :D

And when you get really young players doing it after a handful of appearances it makes me wonder, is it genuine and sincere or is it a fashionable copycat epidemic. I guess some of each

….sometimes phone it in when there is often millions of people watching what they’re doing at any one time?

You’d think the kit manufacturers would cotton on to it (pun intended) and make the official socks grip socks.

The thing they do at the moment that bugs me the most is putting the ball outside the D when taking a corner. Yes I know only part of the ball needs to be level with the line, but what benefit does that extra millimetre get them?

its more than a millimeter, its more like 1-2 centimeters or more. they can then put extra whip on the ball without it crossing the goal line (for outswingers) or not have to worry about kicking the corner flag (for inswingers).

I find it really hard to believe how many young players are so religious.

Better angle, and making sure you don't clip the corner flag.
