Who would win from these two choices?

Didn't see the usual squad/formation thread for the fixture so thought I'd start it. But then I had a thought about the usual suspects for selection and those who are usually left behind/on the bench.

And then i put two teams together, those that have enjoyed most prem minutes against those who have had little or none.

Given that Daws and Bale are in the sinbin i came up with these:

Rose Ghaly Bostock Gilberto

Gomes

Hutton Corluka Woody O'Hara

Lennon Jenas Zokora Modric

Who do you think would win if both these teams went head to head?

Team 2.

They have better players and since all the 22 players come from the same squad with the same lack of a defined strategy for its attacking play the better players will force a win through their superior playing skills.

Faced by any Premiership team they would both lose.

If i had to choose from that I would say team 2 but deffo take o'hara out of lb

You could put a world XI-2 around Jenas and Zokora and team #1 would still kick their ass. You can't concede the center of the pitch and expect to win anything.

Team 2 should win by quite a margin, Ghaly and Bostock(yet) in the middle aren't prem class.

I don't know why Dos Santos is on team 2, he's barely played since Pavlyuchenko joined (sadly).

Actually I would go with a 1-0 victory for team 1 via a crazy own goal from Gomez
