It's not the government's role to give people jobs. In fact, governments getting involved in the economy is a surefire way to destroy jobs.

You seem to have got stuck in the laissez fair era of unbridled capitalism of the last century or even the one before that but as its not really a football question and life is short I've just ticked 'disagree'.

Sorry but this really is a non story.

Banks lend against assets and players are the top assets of football clubs. In Spain RM are important to the country in terms on finance generated as well as morale and national pride

Of course the tax perks enjoyed by certain Spanish clubs is another matter
