Why is this thread still going, lol but here goes i will be wearing my 1982 cup final shirt that i still have, and yes is a little snug in areas, jeans and you never know i might even bring out the 84 cup final scarf, COYS, plus the Ford Cortina will be decorated tomorrow with all the usual stuff.

Reminded me of the Burnley FA Cup Final I went to back in '62. I had my hair in bunches with navy and white ribbons, a very short navy blue pleated skirt and a white blouse and knee length white socks and white shoes. Of course I had my blue and white painted rattle which had navy and white streamers on it and a huge cup final special Spurs rosette pinned on my blouse.
I don't think they sold team strips/shirts then as far as I can recall. It was more a sport than an industry then.
I was 14 at the time mind. Nice memory, nice victory. If you're gonna do it, do it properly!

I've got some navy blue & white ribbon for my hair, also for my dog around her collar. My dad is going to die when he sees my house, I have balloons & everything :lol:. I'm having a little party for my family & friends, the friends are going to be Yids for the day :grin:, although my husband says he's Chelsea for the day :evil:.
