Yep the EL is a worry for meThe mentality of our team seems to be so different this season. The Tottenham of old would have folded at that verts own goal yesterday. The lads picked themselves up and cracked back on with the task ahead. We seem to enjoy coming back from behind which shows an amazing winning mentality and it continues until the final whistle.
I am worried myself though, the Europa league will soon be back upon us and it does concern me as to how the three competitions we remain in will take their toll on the team.
Poch simply has to use the squad. Pritchard will be around, Mason should be back and we'll likely have Dembele #2 in.The mentality of our team seems to be so different this season. No we wouldn't. And before you decide that I'm being purposely argumentative, I'm really not.
Poch's game is all about hard work, quick closing down, and extremely high levels of fitness. Not only that, but it's also about everyone being equals, no egos or attitudes.
Remember, as good as VdV was, he was pretty much knackered after 60 minutes. Also, as good as he was, by his own admission, he left after AVB refused to guarantee him a starting spot. In his interview after he left, he said "before AVB came, I was the man" , and then went on to explain how he wasn't guaranteed a shirt, so opted to return to Germany.
Sorry, I'm really not looking for an argument. I just can't envisage any sort of scenario in which VdV would've been of any use to Pochettino?
EDIT: Shit! Didn't realise the whole world had already responded to that post
Nah a lot of them are arrogant saying that we are still Spurs at the end of the day and will enevtibly mess it up for ourselves.
Have any of the goons mentioned that Mesut Ëyezil went missing again in an important match.
I like Claude, he seems a little bit bi-polar but he's honest and real.

Sturbridge is class he would have made a huge differenceEven if Sturridge had played every second of the season Liverpool would be nowhere near top of the league. Deluded twats.
Give em their due there's still a shadow sits in my mind that says the same thing too many years of being a yidNah a lot of them are arrogant saying that we are still Spurs at the end of the day and will enevtibly mess it up for ourselves.
But would he make the 14 point difference required for them to be top? It's simply ridiculous to think so.Sturbridge is class he would have made a huge difference
WTF are all those Arsenal fans moaning about? Arsenal had 10 men for 75 minutes, they were facing a Chelsea side playing as well as they have all season, and Arsenal's 10 men were excellent in the second half, unlucky not to equalise. The fans in those videos are talking like it was 11 v. 11 and Arse were hammered all game. That's not what happened.
They're also complaining about Wenger taking Giroud off after the red, when the fact of the matter is Giroud is the least mobile of their attacking players, and when you're down to 10 you need pace more than a box finisher.
They're also complaining that Sanchez - who was really outstanding when he came on - didn't start. But you can't blame Wenger for that - starting players who are returning from injury on the bench is what most managers do. It's totally standard management, not something to lose your nut over.
Just back from the stadium and I'm absolutely devastated. Our team are a bunch of small time losers, bar Sanchez, who will probs be off in the summer.
Games like this make you remember why Özil still gets slated by some pundits. Need him to f*cking step up and dominate a massive game this with his AMAZING quality against a top side, rather than just acting like a neat and tidy pansy.
Was close to tears tbh in the immediate aftermath, it's the bloody hope that kills you with arsenal; every year they let you down in an increasingly soul destroying and painful way than they did the previous year. Just not fair.
Theo simply needs to f*ck off, 320 games you're having a laugh. He's achieved sh*t all in his career and has not improved one bit. He's an appalling player, and if we ever want to progress to the next level we HAVE to be ruthless in offloading players with piss poor technical ability.
Devastated.
I wish I ****ing smoked. I really do. And had a cat. I think I'd ****ing smoke the cat.
would happily see the back of ramsey. The guy is massively overrated on here
Ramsey has looked genuinely world class. That was over 2 years ago. He has been bang average for a very, very long time now. Just not good enough.
I went to that utter farce today, unfortunately.
I am still just devastated. It actually feels personal to me now, this despicable and inexplicable record against Chelsea.
Conclusions : Ramsey, Flamini, Walcott and Chamberlain should be binned this summer. Not technically good enough.
Wenger no contract extension if we don't win the league this season.
It's really not hard to understand if you follow the flow of things. You know why Wenger doesn't spend money? Because with spending comes accountability. It's ok for the board to continue to rake in money and win nothing. They're happy with a last 16 CL exit and occasionally splurging on 1 player to keep the supporters showing up and the coffers full. If Wenger actually spent money they might actually expect results. Altruistic lad that he is though Wenger pampers his players like the board has pampered him and so we see the pattern of mediocrity flowing from the top down. It's really criminal but they get away with it. Somewhere along the way this guy stopped caring about football and started caring solely about himself and his vanity project. Instead of running a football club he's basically an overpaid steward of a halfway house for wayward footballers. Even Fergie wouldn't have gotten away with this nonsense and he achieved a whole hell of a lot more. Apparently a handful of major trophies over 20 years makes you absolutely bulletproof as long as the money is still rolling in. Nobody of note at the club even questions the results or lack thereof. It has to be down to greed or he's got pictures of everyone on that board rimming midget orphans. There's no other explanation.
My first post. Hello fellow Gunners.
I've been lurking here for so long that I remember people discussing Rosicky's phenomenal long range shooting technique.
Very disappointing result - compounded by the fact that I watched it in close proximity to Chelsea fans that did not even know the names of their own players, yet celebrated as if it was a title win.
I'm begining to think we've got some legends in the team btw.
Never subscribed to the 'bottle theory' before, but I maybe am now.
2 points from Liverpool, Stoke & Chelsea - the stuff of ChUmpions -
Probably very unfair to point out given he'd literally just arrived on the pitch (and made up for it immediately with his part in Lallana's winner), but...
I reckon he was partly to blame for Norwich's 4th goal. He came on to protect against long balls and set plays, and, seconds later was involved in defending a long ball set play double whammy, was the closest to the eventual scorer as the ball came in / when it was struck (I think), and... they scored

On Wenger:
This guy has met one of the many plastic Chelsea fans
LMAO!!!!
