Monaco are crap and Leicester are 2nd in the PL. We don't know for sure how many they are going to rest and whilst I'd like to see plenty of players rested, I think changing the whole first 11 is asking for trouble.
Leicester are likely going to change 10 to 11 players just as they've done all season in the cups.

Are you really saying Leicester's B team is really all that scary?

Not at all. I'm just a bit wary of second guessing what they might do and think 10 or 11 changes for us isn't necessary.

I'm not a big fan of changing the entire back 5 for instance. I see no reason why Lloris cannot still play and maybe Verts too with Toby rested.

Considering Jeff Schlupp played like the second coming of Maradona against us last year they'd have a right to be confident if he's playing..

He's was brilliant wasn't he. What's happened to him? Is he not even first choice anymore?

So, it's all a bit grim over in SaintsWeb, what with slipping down the league and going out of the cup. But you'll be pleased to know that Southampton fans have moved on and are no longer obsessed with 'what might have been' if they'd kept Pochettino and Alderweireld. Good for them.

No, now they're obsessing with 'what might have been' if they'd kept Paul Mitchell and, rather helpfully, a Saints fan did an interesting 'compare and contrast' between what Saints fans said when Paul Mitchell came to Tottenham and what they're saying now...

What Saints fans said then:

"Spurs casting desperately around for magic beans. Hilarious. We are laughing at you Pochettino."

"Absolutely laughable that a member of the back office staff is getting so much attention"

"That's fine. He is but a replaceable cog in our well oiled machine."

"No idea why this is getting any kind of headline. We'll just replace him with someone better and continue to march on."

"Don't know why people are so upset about this. One thing that has become incredibly obvious about the way our organisation is set up is that nobody is irreplaceable."

"There's a reason most of us hadn't heard of Paul Mitchell until a couple of days ago. He's not that important in the grand scheme of things."

Et Cetera

So what are they saying now?

"Was gutted at the time and realised this and it's been proved its a huge loss."

"Something has gone wrong. The summer window was very, very poor with only VVD being anything above distinctly average."

"More than anything so many of the players we sign seem unsuitable for the league. Not all players will come good, thats just the reality of the transfer market, but I'm not even sure they know what core attributes are non negotiable, especially on the physical side."

"I won't disagree with you at all that our summer transfer business was **** poor."

Oh dear.

How sad.

Wow after willing Leicester on...i now hate the pricks...just like Southampton...go on a good run, get well above their station and then cry like little girls when it all inevitably goes tits up...i know we havent achieved much but our consistent league finishes are not as easy to maintain as these wanky fans would suggest...rant over

Watched the game with a Leicester ST holder, was fairly civil. Thought the pen wasn't (it was very harsh I though), but with 25% possession said we deserved the draw. Both of us agreed that the draw was the worst outcome for both of us. Unfortunately nothing really hilarious to report. Said he likes Spurs for what we're doing with youth and that rose was our MoTM.

I'm off to a Scouse wedding next week. Sure that'd be a goldmine in comparison to my level headed Leicester mate..

No shit. I am reading this: http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/t...cup-third-round-post-match-thread-2-2/page-10 and getting angrier by the post. These numbnuts really think they are better than us. Granted we gave them ammunition with this result but they could hardly get a touch on the ball. Even a team that plays on the counter should be ashamed of ~25% possession. I concede that we should have done more with it and put them down but ffs it is proper RAWK in that forum.

Incredible. They want one of their fellow fans on that board banned because he's questioning them on the handball:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

They were actually singing "just a shit Jamie Vardy"

Fair game chant imo

They were doing it when he was being interviewed by Logan pitchside as well, as obviously the away fans had been held back.

Thought it was fucking hilarious and both Kane and Gabby had smirks on their faces as they tried to talk over it.

Me too, the chant made me laugh too.

It was nailed on that he'd score after that.

It shows just how highly he's rated too. If he really was just a shit Jamie Vardy they'd never give him a glance.

They booed him when his name was announced, and the first few times he touched the ball. They booed him at both league and cup games last season as well.

Silly billies. Kane will now cross them off his Team's I Might Sign For list.
